It is still your responsibility. You knew or ought to have known that one of the potential consequence of sex is pregancy. You had sex regardless of that risk.... you made a conscious choice. Unless she raped you it is your responsibility. Even if you could prove that she intentionally sabotaged the birth control you would still be deemed to have an obligation to that child (by any court in the western world).

No, it does not. It may be morally reprehensable behaviour on her part but it does not justify physical violence.

Yes you are selfish. You are trying to alieve yourself of responsibility so that you don't have to own up to your duty. Your claims that she sabotoaged the condom are likely false or at best unprovable and the motivation behind your claims is nothing more then self interest without regard for anyone else involved. You are a child thinking only of himself, what this will do to your life, how this will change things, what this will cost you..... grow up.

being fooled by someone is no way to justify killing them, and that would never hold up in court if you were charged with murdering a pregnant woman.

who you decide to trust is based on your own judgement and experiences... everyone has been fooled and let down by people they thought they could trust, but you learn from your mistakes and hopefully this will allow you to make wiser choices in the future. |

It's more a matter of taking responsibility for my actions then blaming myself. It is a conscious choice, I choose to be an upstanding person rather then a spineless paracite. |

morning after pill.. do that.. you dont want to bring up a child into this world that you dont want to raise, cant raise properly or not intended to raise.
Personally my argument (although it will probably cause alot of contraversy) would be to abort the baby before a certain time period.
lets say before 6 weeks
this is a gathering of the fetal stages of different organisms (a bit dramatized). You can see that a baby isnt really much of a human organism until about 7 weeks into pregnancy, 2 months and a bit by comparing the two images.
Although genetically it is a baby, its still not a totally capable living human being developed with the capabilities of a born human being. you can say that blowing your load is half of a baby because it contains half of hte DNA required to create a gamete (which turns into a fetus baby etc). So there must be a point on which it is logical to abort or not, wihtout really being inhumane. Judging by fetal developement.. i would say that 7 weeks grace period is really what distinguishes a human baby from other organisms. Again theres a totally different ball game if your against killing of animals (For food and what not). |
