i will not go to this 100%
like someone else said this has trouble written all over it
first of all, the line up will be so huge it will cause so much traffic everywhere that it will take forveer to get in. Might as well take a subway because you wont find single parking spot if you drive and it will take you forever to get to the club district.
second there is not enough space to line up on the street so they make you line up on the otherside of the street which will be so ing anoyying with "cool" people walking in past the line
third, the amount of ginos and ginas at this party will make me want to vomit all over the place, people that listen to him on z103.5 etc
forth, like someone else said the place is big vertically not horizontally, for you to get on to one floor or to get off the other floor it takes about 40minutes, it will be so packed that it will take forever to get to another floor, move around or just to get out of the club!
fifth, bouncers i will never forget those ing bouncers at lucid, me and some of my friends were waiting in the line for 40min to get into another room, i was a little distracted because i was talking to someone in line so once i notice the line starts moving my friends in front of me get in and he stops the line on me so after all that waiting he lets my friends in except for me and says the room is closed! what the , i say. He says "i dont care, room is too full its closed everyone in the line get out" even after me trying to explain that my friends just got in and im the only one left he still would not let me in. That is also when i left the club.
sixth - dj booth, haahha its a joke the dj booth is located on like the 3rd floor so if youre on the first you cannot see , you dont even know whos spinning unless it says on the flyer LOL. I dont know if this will be changed or not
seventh - the usual places i go to like guv hotel etc i never wait 3 hours to get a drink but at lucid you had to, no matter what it would take you at least 20minutes to get a drink (i know its prolly gonna be a different staff but im just sharing my experience). Also at lucid you could not walk with a drink from floor to floor which pissed me off a lot
anyways i've had a very bad experience with that club and i dont think i will comeback there, plus tiesto spinning there does not attract either. Lucid got what they deserved with the kind of bull they pulled. |

Im soo sorry about your experience with LUCID!!!
I only went there once for my bday and we had booked the v.v.i.p :D as one of my co workers used to be a manager there so i never had any trouble with any ....but yeah i heard stuff about the bouncers and the bartenders takin their sweet time....ooooooh man this is wacked!

If I read this all correctly CIRCA is LUCID.....BRUTAL....
....that place was a ing complete waste of space, looks like I am going to see Tiesto and listen to his 2000 trance energy set on my ipod.....
Just like ing toronto events, ignore venue quality, sound, location all for the name of impressing the ing DJ, at this rate why dont they just have Tiesto atop the CN tower broadcasting live to all of Toronto. Lucid is ing brutal,
escalator in club- brutal
main dance floor the size of my driveway - brutal
NO PLACE TO SMOKE - BRUTAL
15 floors that dont even face the the main room - brutal
heart of downtown Toronto, and ultimatley subject to cops on horses, with batons up their asses - BRUTAL
Tiesto not playing at the docks or KH - PURE UNADULTERATED BRUTALITY
Always something when Tiesto comes around now.... |

wow! what a shocking news.
Tiesto in lucid/circa niteclub!!
I've been to lucid once 2 years ago and all I can say it sucked. sound system was garbage ,the whole club design was kindda pissing me off, overall I hate that place.
I also hate where it's located, I really wanna see tiesto but the place is a disappointment for me.
i still might end up goin ,,,never know what will happen. |

even though ive never seen tiesto and i really want to, the club venue and the date is really turning me off this event.
i guess it all depends on what the lineups gonna be at the guv for freedom and the other factor is the price of the tiesto gig |

I concur... the date is horrible. The long weekend?... I'll be camping and pumping tunes there. |

yeah, tiesto either KH or THE DOCKS, nothing else could possibly be a good/enjoyable event. I will laugh when that place "CIRCA" gets raided by cops for overpacking the club to and for causing the insane amount of traffic on the streets and around the club. If docks is like sardines in a can imagine Circa? hahah that place will collaps the same day it opens.
The only thing im really happy about is thats many people will not go to Freedom which will leave me more space to dance :p |
