would that surprise you....Tiesto is Z103.5
I can't believe people would pay that kinda money to see Tiesto....or for that matter....any single DJ.
If I see Tiesto again...it will be in Europe where he actually plays a decent set......oh well...enjoy everyone...I hope you get your moneys worth. |

people keep saying shows are more expensive in europe, and we shouldnt be complaining of ticket prices here.

The hausheads went to see him in Colorado last night and I kept getting text messages saying " this is hard house!" and "damn this is fun!" if you want an early review of what you're gonna hear.
The thought was "well, we graduated from college and nowehere else to go but Tiesto so it!". :) |

That seems to be his new style from the last set i heard, and other reviews that were posted on TA. Trance along with harder edged house. |

Sean Miller, Nitin , Carlo Lio, Vinyl Junkies.... i'm glad they put these guys on the bill as well - more exposure to a crowd that may not catch them at their regular gigs.
I dont understand where all this hate towards GEM is coming from really? Do people not understand how much it costs exactly to book a guy like Tiesto!?? If he is too rich for your blood, so be it... but dont complain about the price as if this is a huge shock.
Craig is all about throwing great parties, and he's doing every thing in his power to make this one go off perfectly. And to those who think Tiesto is playing a three hour set.... keep dreaming.
Last I checked, they were shooting for AT LEAST six hours. |

To me, its not the price, nor the supposed 3 hour set, which i agree with you, i think it will be much longer.
Its the fact that last time, so many tickets were sold that people couldnt enjoy the party. People were forced out on the patio. Unfortunately, people are paying to see the DJ perform, not chill out side all night because the club is too rammed. So, if $$ goes up, i expect and hope that the total # people there goes down enough do that i can be in the club somewhat comfortably to enjoy it. Thats all that anyone asks. Heh, that and that they turn up the system a lot louder than it was last June. THat was really pathetic actually. I could easily carry a convo last time in the main room. But thats not really a problem that has anything to do with GEM i guess. But if they can do something about it, i hope they do. |

| yeah...looks like i'll be missing a Tiesto party for the first since I started seeing him in 2002. Oh well. Lack of money for this overpriced event and friends not having any money either....next time I guess. |
