Teaching Holocaust Denial in School?

I had an ID proponent at my school today holding a lecture. Naturally I went there cause I wanted to prevent this from getting any credibility in Sweden. His arguments where basically:
- Everything is so complicated in this world so there must be something that created it (I asked him if God wouldn't be even more complicated than the earth and that he therefore must have been created by something as well using that logic. But appernely God is outside time and space and that logic therefore doesn't that apply to God)
- There are "scientists" that thinks evolution is wrong, and therefore must the school take this into consideration and diversify what is said in science classes. So I got an idea that me and friend should get someone to our school who could talk about why the holocaust didn't happen and why this should be taught alongside the ordinary holocaust theory in school (since there are "scientists" that believe that the holocaust didn't happen). Obviously it will stir up a lot of controversy and hopefully we will get a point across by doing this ;) Most likely the lecture will never happen since the school will stop it, or some politicans will, or there will be lots of people there aregeuing against it so there would be no risk that this kind of movment got any credit, but we could still advertise it and tell ppl why we are doing that and get them to understand why ID is insanity in science class.
Anyone think it is a good idea? Or just wait until, if ever, it gets more attention in Sweden? |

Dont count on the people to figure out the connection by themselves. Always remember that people are stupid, if they dont get what you are trying to say you could end up in a lot of trouble, make sure you have a few teachers on your side before attempting it.
If it doesnt work, the next time some ID nut comes to preach, just set up a pastafarian booth near the exit of the room and convert people to the church of the spaghetti monster :D Most ID nuts are christian anyway so this should properle piss them off (the beer and stripper factory should probe popular with the college students :D) |

| i heard arguments pro and con and only the evolution one makes any real sense to me based on alot of different things such as how could've God been operating on 24 hour (or however many) days if he didn't created the sun and the moon till the 3rd i believe? amongst many others. and holocaust denial has no facts or hard evidence, just misrepresentation. |

now let's get back to ID? can you prove it? N00O0O0? can you REALLY prove evolution? If so it'd be a FACT, not an evolution theory ;)
oh and when you can explain ID to me using the scientific method or any hard effects then i'll take it seriously :D |

and where did i say theories prove things? not even in contradicting you did i say anything near to that.
you're completely missing the point here: the reason i can't prove ID or bring evidence/facts to support it... is because it is NOT a scientific theory. |
