ray - what is the recorder you have called?
rj was telling me but i forget what its called.......
and anyone else that records their sets with a portable device, SPEAK UP! i'd like to have something at my place so i can record all the time :) |

I use my PC and Wavelab.
There's a few different hardware devices you can buy but why waste the money when you can use what you have ? |

| total recorder records direct to mp3 as well...just have to download the lame encoder (which is freely available) and make it point to it |

my setup doesnt allow me to have a computer (im very limited for space).

| didnt notice the portable device part...u can get an i-river mp3 player...it records audio too...check the HP series or pick up an older model off ebay...10gb should be aight |

Long cords from mixers to PCs can easily distort the sound quality.
Many people use an iriver jeff, but be sure to look into the model before buying. I have the H10 and it doesn't record. |
