just got home - great freaking night, especially the last 3 hours were simply fantastic. the first part seriously put me to sleep though....i'll post more when im awake and sane

+1 to Brian's review. Their first hour each bored me, but they picked up at about 3AM. The opener was pretty good, dropping lots of minimal tracks and it was disappointing that Diggers kind of let the intensity drop when he started.

The last hour was simply nuts, though. They played Westbam & Nena - Oldschool Baby (Main Mix) into Paul Kalkbrenner - Gebrunn Gerbrunn as the 3rd and 2nd last tracks of the set. Don't know what the last one was, though. sot said he knew the encore from Sasha's last hour on the Space Terrace set that was recorded, but I haven't heard it yet.

I was actually pretty surprised not to ID more tracks tonight. They didn't drop a few tracks that I really expected to hear that they normally hammer. For instance, the two most recent Tiefschwarz tracks and the two new 16 Bit Lolitas tracks. I really wanted to hear Destiny tonight, too.

Oh, it was really crowded tonight. Thank god we had bracelets to run upstairs every now and then. We stuck back until things started to die down around 4 or so, then hit the floor

Saw verndogs, sot, thero40, stunade and kidnyce from the board, as well as pretty much everyone that was in line with us at Cielo 4 weeks ago.

ya around 4am sasha stepped out to use the restrooms upstairs. I got a chance to have a few words with him. Up until that time it was going pretty slow. I said to him why dont you just play hard like you did monday. He says that he will :) after that it was twilo thunder for most of the night.

fantastic night. had two memory cards for my digital camera. 512 MB. both of them full. when i get the chance, i'll post vids for track-iding on my site...

couldn't ID any songs, except one old school track that i can't remember the name of, and ELEVEN by Gabriel and Dresden. that'll be on their new album...

anyways, i hope some of the vids come out. some of them sounded like they had pure white noise, because they had the sound up so f'in high; but there were definitely some ing KILLER beats.

oh yea sorry

if anyone recognized eleven by G&D, if they could tell me what song came AFTER that, it would be much appreciated. that was my favorite song of the night.

sick. just sick.

The only reason i went was for Diggers, Sasha just puts me to sleep:whip: Good night overall though, they def ended strong.

ehhh

goood night for sure...that 30 mins sasha went on at like 3-3:30ish was amazzzzzzzzzzing.... rest of the night was so so..digweed kept bringing the energy down and kinda played filler kinda got me sleepy and bored..but that one time sasha went on and played banger after banger was definitely the highlight of the night imho. also was hoping theyd play 16 bit lolitas - sedna and destiny..but whatever. also who witnessed digweed trainwreck?? i thought id never witness that but damn did he wreck harddd hahaha.. also sasha dropped nathan fake-outhouse..i havent heard that tune in ages..great track :)..good seeing all the regulars (you know who you are)..ight im off to try to goto sleep again..doubt it will work err

God Dammit! After finding out that 21- couldn't get comps, I just decided to go to another party instead, which ended up ending around 2:30am; and the next one ended around 4. I can't believe that I was to stingy to go to this, and am kicking myself now that all of these good reviews are up.

ok semi-sane at this point....for a second this morning i was scared it was going to be a sunny day, i dreaded the sun and was praying for dark rainy clouds....you could tell i wasn't planning on doing much today LOL

anyways...lets get to the review...
the first 3 hours was really slow after andrew voght (sp?) opened with some yummy minimal....then diggers came on and started with some very very slow deep dark prog...sasha came on say 30-45min after diggers and just picked up where diggers left off...nothing too exciting....this was when crobar was the most crowded. then around 3-3:30 i think sasha was on and you tell there was a huge shift in energy. this is also the point where the crowd began to thin out...

from 3:30 onward until about 7am-ish they were both simply relentless...people could move around it and the bass levels just seem to really be long and drawn out...the bass that you could feel in your throat...

i had tons of fun and for those who saw me last night, i had my full party hat on last night...reason being is cuz i got promoted yesterday!!!!

anyways, im not going to remember everyone's name but i remember too cool chris, umes, and the standard party people. shouts to jon and amanda, thero, tom, john, ryan, christina and anyone else i didn't mention.

carl cox tonight - DO IT
