I missed that too...this sums it up nicely...you're quite right.
It's not like they're in the dark about their practices, lol...they know exactly what they are doing.
I think many people are complaining because typically this business model hasn't really been found in the EDM scene (at least not in Toronto and not for these types of DJs).
I've never had to decide that I'm not going to go hear someone like Zabiela spin because of an ill-defined dress code, other random door policies, etc.
unfortunate..but you're right. There are others who love this perceived exclusivity, more "upscale" crowd (I use the term loosely, lol)...in fact, they go looking for places like that. |

| Supper Clubs and Bottle Service is catching on everywhere.Like Skipper mentioned before sometimes people just want to look good and feel good when they go out.Thats why these places make the real $$$. |

its been 2+ months since SOHO nights have been going on. those that had a problem initially with the club havent gone back, some others have faced problems on the second or 3rd time they have gone.
initially it was considered to be minor glitches that needed to be straightened out. now its just strange how every seingly SOHO review thread seems to have as many complaints as it does compliments...
theres really no point in everyone arguing here because those who have chosen to like or dislike the night will keep it that way. just state whey u like/dislike it..thats all

hey guys, lets just close this topic. forever. Our complaints is nothing but the promotion for the tiest club ever. I see some stupid idiots who havent been to TiL before but are dying to go there just for the reason to get inside, and tell everyone how COOL and STYLISH they are! I dont want to promote this ***hole. do you?
I know who I am, and I know TiL is not worth my time.
ps. Sorry to tell you, but average TiL crowd doesnt know a about style and fashion. Even less they know about the music. hahahaha, Vlad, imagine these ppl coming to VIP Moscow clubs. hahaha. |

I think thats a pretty jaded opinion on your part. I've been there 4 or 5 times now and have a good time everytime, the crowd IS stylish, fashionable and good looking...the venue IS very clean, beautiful and comfortable. The crowd can be pushy, arrogant and not into the music as much as some of us...but does that mean they shouldn't be there?...and how do you know they don't know about the music?...because they dont 'look' the part of a clubber?...I know some of the regulars there that would put 80% of the people on this board to shame when it comes to the music department. |
