personally i dont really care and Im a big ass pot head too.
smoking weed is something that should be done somewhat privatly, keep that away from school yards and such etc... plus as long as your not a dick cops really wont give a anyways they dont have time for your if you have a small amount, plus the liberals didnt really do to legalize it anyways..
weed is pretty much legal here anyways ( its like an unspoken canadian law) is long as your not being a dick or comitting a another crime while in possesion you have nothing to worry about.

Good point. Busting pot smokers is a waste of tax payer money. I thought the conservatives were planning on cutting taxes. It will never happen with the added costs of incarcerating all the pot smokers. It costs alot of money to build more jails, unless they plan on letting murderers & rapists go free.
While I lived in Windsor, it was obvious that the police couldn't deal with the cities very high number of cocaine addicts. Harper just proved that he's out of touch with the real issues on Canada's streets, and that he's more interested in sucking up to George Bush & his Right Wing Political base.
I do hope that he does make good on his plan to increase penalties on violent criminals. |
