Yah so i went to see Armin at Glow Glow/Fur in D.C on the 8th. Just like the night before he dropped walk down, CQ, communication and G&D - Sydney. It was amazing. I actually recognized a lot of the tracks from his newest ASOT 243. I decided to post here since it seems like a lot of stuff he dropped at Boston he dropped in D.C.
Highlights from what i remember were:
Arctic Quest - Renaissance <== MASSIVE
Nico Parisi vs. Erik Hubo - Metro
Mark Otten - So Serene (Menno de Jong Fierce Dub Mix) <== a favorite!
Markus Schulz feat. Departure - Without You Near
Re:Locate - Rogue <== i knew he was gonna play it since it's future fave
Kyau vs. Albert - Walk Down (KvA Club Mix)
Armin van Buuren - Zocalo
Armin van Buuren - Control Freak
Armin van Buuren - Shivers
Simon Patterson - F16 <== MASSIVE
I don't remember but i think he did Carte Blanche.
Kuffdam & Plant - Summerdream (Paul van Dyk mix) <== i loved this
Gabriel & Dresden feat. Molly - Tracking Treasure Down (?? kyau vs albert?? remix?)
Gabriel & Dresden - Sydney <== this owned
Mr. Sam feat. Kirsty Hawkshaw – Insight (Aira Force Remix) <== he should of played the T4L version! i don't like this remix.
Thomas Bronzwaer - Shadow World
Enmass - CQ (Randy Boyer and Kristina Sky Remix) <== THIS OWNED!
Monday Bar?? don't remember
and many more that i don't recall!
basically a lot of what he played at trance energy + tracks from the latest ASOT's.
I really wanted to hear No Way Back but i guess he played it in Avalon and not in DC. I also wanted to hear Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms and Re:Locate feat. Menno de Jong - Spirit, didn't play them though. Some more older favorites would of been much nicer since not everyone recognizes all these latest tracks. NI thought the sound system at Glow/Fur was really good, but blasted so loud to the point where the piano in So Serene went out of tune! I was barely able to recognize the So Serene piano melody even though i knew it was playing! Nevertheless Armin killed it at DC. |

| what's the deal with getting into rise? i don't really know anyone that goes there and i guess the deal is you need to know somsone in order to get in as a guest? i'd like to see gabriel and dresden on friday. anyone know what the deal with rise is? |

I'll be at Danny Howells at Avalon. If you're there I can hook you up with guest passes or if you're not able to find someone with guest passes just ask anyone going into rise that's a member to just walk you in. You don't need passes if you go in with a member. |

Or you can go to www.ngpdj.com and sign-up on their guestlist and go in without a member... That works as well |
