it's seriously almost to the point that i feel like telling my boss i'm uncomfortable designing the site, just because i don't want to have any part in putting forth the image that drinking and driving is okay. either that or i feel like putting a big disclaimer in the graphics about drinking responsibly, but that might be too controversial and i don't want to get in trouble.
am i just being a big baby? am i crazy? |
What's the problem with drinking and driving on a motorcyle? It's not like a car or truck, as you'll only kill yourself, not others, since a bike isn't really big enough to do enough damage. Eventually, the problem will solve itself. |

Yeah, and how many of those million dollar condos are sold? And how long is the highway downtown going to be torn up? Why is it that Milwaukee as a city and county is the ONLY major city/county in Wisco to experience a decline in population over the last 15 years? Why is their crime rate steadily increasing while the police force diminishes?
Milwaukee, as a city, is the equivalent of the of the world, and the city government isn't doing anything to help the city... Think before you speak Andy, a huge condo boom doesn't mean when people aren't buying. |

i hate to say it but i totally agree with you... but they could still injure/kill other people.
the terrible thing is, i've heard numerous people say that they are "better" drunk drivers on their motorcycles than they would be in their cars or trucks, because being on a bike "sobers you up and straightens you out"... ing morons.

No, but I am saying that this myth that Milwaukee is doing all these great things to enhance their city is a crock of .
People all over the world make fun of Milwaukee for a reason, it's just that no one in Wisconsin ever wants to hear that things in their "big city" aren't as good as they think they are.

i don't think people all over the world make fun of Milwaukee... they make fun of Wisconsin. most of the people i've known outside of the midwest don't even know anything about Milwaukee. they think Wisconsin is just farms, cows, cheese, beer, and the Green Bay Packers. |
