Aww. poor Theresa, sorry to hear youre getting all the crap.
Im getting absolutely sick of school right now, Im just overflowing with work that I cant ever get done in time and its pissing me off. I just want to be in med school already so I dont have to deal with anymore of these bull classes that have absolutely nothing to do with the profession I have decided to go into. |

ok my boss is a cheap ing jew . i have been working here since last september and i still don't have health insurance. do you think i've bothered him about it? no. but i DID however ask him to pay for a recent gyno appt. since i was due for my yearly exam and he cut me a company check for it...i was happy, he was glad to do it for me, end of story? no. i find out today that he was only "loaning" me that money. when he hired me, he said that after a few months he'd find me an ins. plan, and he'd cover any costs in the meantime. the "meantime" has turned into like 8 months and i haven't bugged him for insurance...all i asked was for him to pay for ONE stupid gyno appointment that cost $165. big ing deal. i can't believe he's making me pay him back.
AAAAND...my paydays are on the 15th and last day of each month. well sometimes those days end up on a saturday or sunday. well, he SHOULD make them go through for that friday and he usually does, however this past weekend, he didn't. i asked for good friday off not that i'm this by the book catholic, but the other paralegal took off for all the jewish holidays even though he wasn't giving us those days off, so i figured what the heck, i'm gonna ask for it. but just to make it sound better, like i actually had plans, i told a little fib and said i was going out of town with my mom for easter weekend. only half true. my mom went, i didn't:p either way though, as far as he's concerned, i was going out of town. and i bugged him to call in our payroll on wednesday but he forgot. actually, we have a company that does our payroll and the guy usually calls us to get the hours from my boss. well he called us on wednesday, to do the payroll for friday, but my boss didn't call it in until thursday which meant my money would be in my account friday at midnight (so basically saturday) instead of thursday at midnight. i was a little annoyed at that, but i figured oh well, better saturday morning than not at all. WRONG! he ing dated our payroll for today when he KNEW that i was anxious to get paid before my long easter weekend.
i swear, i feel like sending him an email and telling him my car payment bounced or something because of this. haha
after everything i've done for him....i was picking up his daughters from school every damn day in butt egypt for like 2 months straight because he was too cheap to hire a new nanny. all i asked was for gas money even though my car isn't in the best shape and i was putting all those miles on it. i STILL go and get his kids, but only on mondays now...but still. this is how he repays me?
i am the most confrontational person i know, but for some reason i have a really hard time confronting bosses...especially about money. i'm too angry right now to say anything. :(
i think i need to find a new job. i moved to miami beach anyway, and i'm still commuting to ft. lauderdale with no health insurance. this. i could easily find a better job in miami and make like 5k+ more a year, with full benefits and not have to commute. |
