i guess i will add to the ranting:

I have 2 friends >>?? that each owe me $60 and have owed me the $ for a long time, one for 6 months and the other for 1 1/2 yrs. The 6 mos. one figures it's my fault that his cellphone is fryed since he brought it on a kayak and we tipped over and went in the water and doesn't feel like paying me - I wasn't stupid enough to bring mine. The 1 1/2 yrs guy bought a $4500 toyota 4runner from me for $300 and although he's payed most of it, we had a contract to pay it off 1 1/2 yrs ago. He seems to think that buying pot and alchohol on regular basis is more imp.

what more they get an attitude with me when I ask them about it.
im somewhat pissed about this.

Lending money is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS a bad idea. If you ever lend money in the future, keep in mind that you most likely will never see it again.

jdat, I mean, are you going to physically be ok? I mean, whatever you have that keeps bringing you back to the hospital must be pretty serious.

well my mom talked to my dad last night about my financial situation with school and he's going to help me out a little...but he never offered:( and i found out that my 32 year old sister has been hitting him up for money a lot and he gives it to her.

my sister feels entitled to everyone's paycheck for some reason. just because she isn't very educated and lives in indiana and is broke all the time and has a baby she can't afford, she feels that everyone needs to chip in and help her out financially.

she always has to know everyone's business and how much money everyone has. i mean she'll literally call me and my mom up and gripe about her in-laws and how they just put up a new fence in their backyard and she'll be like, "they said they were broke last month! i don't know how they can afford that new fence, and we're struggling financially right now and day care is expensive, bla bla bla bla" like it's ANY of her godddamn business what anyone else does with their own hard earned money.

christ, she disgusts me, i swear.

and she always tries to act like she's the sweet, simple one, who doesn't need much in life to be happy, and i'm the materialistic money grubbing brat.

well, i admit that i am materialistic, but at least i keep it real and at least i have my own ing job (soon to be jobS, since i'm looking for a 2nd one) and don't expect everyone to buy me or pay my bills. at least i have some ing shame not to wait for everyone to support me like some degenerate loser.

It's called kidney failure. I've already been on dialysis back home (every night for 10 hours each ) since march 2005 but it's an alternative type of treatment and the results haven't been gone.
So I gotta go and do regular hemodialysis now ( 3 times a week 4 hours each ).
Needless to say I feel like my life has been totally destroyed by this and I am more and more falling into depressiong as I have literally nothing to do where I live now.
And I know nearly no one here ... seriously I have a real convo with maybe 3 people at most a week ( 2 of these being my parents ) ... and I say a brief hello to maybe 5 people a week.
I am totally living the loner life and I HATE IT.
It's not in my nature at all.
This really ain't leading to anything good it keeps getting worse and worse.

:stongue: This makes me think of my sister but in a quite different way.

She's a pro wedding photographer and makes ridiculous amounts of money and her husband has a real good engineering job.
Well up until last quarter or something she wasn't making enough to have to pay state tax ( or something .. sorry blurry details ), and about a month ago she got a notice that now she was making well above.
She has a crazy backlog of taxes to pay and said it was in the 5 figures. We're all worried for her and her hubby ... ends up it was 13k.

Anyhow she had a trip planned to come to France with her 2 month old baby a couple weeks ago ... my parents had to pitch in for the flight and then pay for gas for me to drive her around France the whole week she was here ( spent nearly 250 bucks on Gas in a week ( it's much more expensive then in the US ).
And on the last day she even asks my parents to write her a check to cover more of the airplane cost ( they were charged last minute for her daughter to fly ( 200 bucks or so ).
:wtf:

And this isn't the first time my parents have to pitch in ... they had to do it as well for when my other sister was getting married in France.

Somehow I don't get it .... this sister that's back in the US always wants to be helped financially to come and visit the rest of her family in France.
It really makes no sense considering she is making way more money than anyone else in the family. :wtf:

It totally pisses me off to see her using my parents like that.

hahah yea my bf's brother is like that. he's a cheap bastard and has probably 20k in the bank, yet he never chips in when we would go clubbing. and he has this friend who is a surgeon in miami (obviously has money) and he wont go out unless that guy is there and it's probably because he knows he'll pick up the tab. it's so funny.

oh yea and my sister is the same now with expecting everyone to pay for her to visit with the family. and she knows everyone will do it because we all want to see my nephew. she uses him to get everyone to pay her way all the time.
