my god my years are still ringing!!
To make a long story short: Went to acid lounge at 12:30 but wasn't sure who was a TA and was not....didn't meet that many people, met Cloud9(he had t-shirt thank god)
It was way too crowded! I did not expect that many ginos...and old asian people....no rooom to dance at all!
Yeah there was alot of messed people, alot were asians but what can u do, just don't generalize everythign cuz i'm asian and I was getting such a good vibe off the music...
not sure if anyone saw me but was the asian with white tank top/red pants and/black hair with blonde hi-lites, under the fan in the main room the whole time dancing to Ferry
I was fortunate enough to meet Swamper in the coat check lineup at the end...nice meeting ya
well i hope that next time i get to meet more TA's.....
later guys |

The Party Was Great, Had alot of fun met some of the TA's
The Crowed I have to agree sucked bit (people pushing like crazy, didn't even get a chance to dance much) also didn't have room to move my arms (haha I know its the guvernment it was packed)
I think they should of made yesterdays party at the Kool Haus more room to boogie
***One More thing Does anyone know the name of that song that Ferry played I believe in the middle of his set it was sooo much of HIGH energy the place went Crazy it had 2-3 quiet moments and then it started to drive the place crazy again*** I know there was a lot of good high energy songs but this on STOOD out...
Can anyone identify this TUNE???? |

Ferry played an incredible set last night. My ears still hurt, but my body is still moving. Im not sure where I heard it, but I heard that ferry was only spinning from 2-5, but he started at 1:30 and went on till 7:15 (either that or my eyes were buggin out on me). I guess that was his way of paying redemption for his almost no-show last september.
I went there with a bunch of TAs, and ended up meeting a bunch of others. I was the tall guy with the red-shirt with a motorcycle on the back. Partying with all of you is awesome. I especially liked meeting Trippin (I think thats how you spell it).
I cant wait till the next party... looks like Scott Bond will get a dose of TA later this month. |

What a nite...I almost didn't make it but i'm glad i did. First of all I want to say a big thanks to all the TA's i met and partied with, it is a real pleasure to hang with you guys. Now onto the music....
I walked in at 12:30 and expected to hear Mark O spinning some of his normal but was quite suprised to hear him throw down some classic trance anthems like "Seven Cities" and "Open your Eyes"...now why doesn't he do the same on regular saturdays ? Hmmm anyway on to the main man Ferry.
What can I say, he may cancel on TO from time to time but when he does spin he sure does rip it up. Ferry played a solid set and looked like he was having a whale of a time on the decks. Most of the mixing was flawless and although his track selection was a little too vocal and fluffy at times i have to admit that it felt good to hear a true epic trance set (something which i haven't heard since Tiesto)
Finally about the crowd..yeah there were a lot of asians, and a lot of guido's...but what can u do, this is the way it is in most clubs...you think the crowds here are bad ? haha try going to NYC and clubs like EXIT...you'll know the true meaning of juiceheads and junkies. Guvernement is a good club but last nite was crazy, there were way too many people there and dancing was out of the question, still i guess that's to be expected as well. Finally, when the are they going to change that ing coat check ????? It took me 30 mins just to leave the ing club !!! Anyway...it's on to Quivver and Tilt this Friday at System...C U ALL THERE :) |

Ferry played an all right set. I can't say I really enjoyed it as a whole, but some individual tracks were amazing!
Great to meet so many tranceaddicts ! Thanks to Trancearmada for giving me a ride to my bus station ! |

My GOD, that must of been the best set i ever heard, every single track Ferry played got me jumping till 7:15 am. He played some wicked classic uplifting stuff, it was just fooking INCREDIBLE.
There were WAY too many ppl there last night, it took me 25 mins to go to the bathroom then come back to my spot, F@#$*& ridiculus. the bouncer was actually standing at the bathroom door and regulating traffic, it was insane, the crowd really didn't bother me too much, i guess i just know what to expect on a saturday from the Guv.
My ears a ringing like crazy and it's 4:30 pm right now, DAMN, but it was WELL worth it.
Overall it was the best night i had in a long long time, and in my opinion that was the best set EVER, from 1:30 till 7:15 all I heard was the most amazing trance, Ferry most definately did not Dissapoint. Can't wait till he comes back (already)
Met a lot of TA's at Acid Lounge at 12:30 but forgot all your names, sorry, I'm terrible with names, but it was FANTASTIC partying with u all.
P.S. DieTcocaine (i think thats how u spell it) thanks for that fruit drink, it was fantastic.

Well, I made it to my 1st TA meetup. Good to meet all of you- too many names to remember. (Arcticboy wins the 'friendliest TA member award from me!).
I want to give props to the Guv for making it look so good in there last nite- the lights & screens were amazing. Now, with that said and done, I want to give the Guv a big " YOU!" for packing so many people in there just so they can make a few more bucks. You could hardly move or breathe in there, let alone dance. Most people in there would rather pay more to have less people in there. I spent most of my night trying to find a place to get some air, or trying to find familiar faces.
Maybe it was just me, but I couldn't get into it. I dunno if it was the combination of size & sketchiness of the crowd, or what, but I just didn't 'feel' this set. I thought he played too many old tracks- yes, they're great anthems, but I wanted to hear more new stuff. The highlight of his set for me was the "Dance Valley Theme 2001"- everyone went nuts for this one!
Got my cd cover signed, and some pics taken. Both Ferry & manager were really nice people. |

holy crap what an awesome night! everyone has pretty much already said what i had in mind about the set... but i'll throw in my 2 cents anyways.
what's worse than shirtless ginos? shirtless, cracked-out 40 year old azns... yuck... omg. well... there were a lot of drugged out white people too, so stop raggin on us, =P.
before i left, i swore to my friend i'd KILL ferry if he played his song, PUNK... at first, i flipped him a bird when he dropped it, but it wasn't too bad when after a while. i'm just glad i got to stay the WHOLE set this time, well...i stayed til 5:15, when ferry left. although a bunch of you are saying that he stayed til 7:15... did he come back!??! cause i'm pretty sure mark oliver took over after he played rapture. anyways, good to see the place open up a bit at around 3. it was definitely WAY too packed when i got there.
highlight of my night was when he played ultra - free (airscape remix)... omg... i freakin lost it... and started chanting all the words. "free! we wanna be free!.... and we wanna get LOADED!... etc." hahaha... man.. yeah, i'm a nerd...
anyways.... it was a good time, and i'm sorry if i stepped on anyone's feet last night. cause i know i did that a lot... but it was just sooo packed. |
