| Yes, just a few minutes after Mark went on, Ferry took over again- they were sorta tag-teaming there for a while. I called it quits at 6:30- I'd had enuf. |

hey, why don't you tell "your community" to stop taking off their shirts, and pushin people around? personally, i find drugged up 40 year olds, regardless of race, to be quite the funny spectacle, =P. |

Yea the tracks were a little jumbled but I didn't care; I was there!
Lots of classics for sure! For someone just getting into Trance, this would have been a night to come for sure.
The Crowd
Overall, creepy.
Ok...this was obviously the strangest bunch of people you could ever put in one place I'm sure of it.
I've been to a few events and I don't think I've ever experience this type of crowd.
Pushy and just plain ignorant; I can only think of one person that actually excused themselves...:whip:

I have nothing against asian people but there sure were lots of em! What I wasn't expecting to see some yakuza there (ie. older sweaty guys with no shirts and tatoos all over)
Ginos; absolutely expected. Big sweaty juice pigs with their plastic girlfriends...
I had some barbie (yes she was just attractive) come up and ask me if she could 'borrow' my blue glow sticks. I looked at her, thought for sec. She then rebutted my pause with an offer of, "You can come and get them anytime you want them back..." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAA!!!
I knew damn well I wasn't going to get them back....
I was pretty much done with them so I just gave them to her. I let her think she won.
Later on Cloud9 suggested trying to get them back; so for a joke, I tugged on her pantleg while she was on the speakers. She looked at for me, I motioned for the glowsticks and then she ignored me! :rolleyes: She proved me right and I just laughed....
I later saw her boyfriend (aka Atlas) but I wasn't worried. I'm sure that guy dials the phone with his forehead...:stongue:
Dancin'
To be honest, I don't think I saw the dance floor til almost 5am.
I kept looking at my watch every 1/2 hour (starting around 3am)hopeing that some people had to go home or something. Sheesh....don't you people had worried families or something?? :D
Minus the asians of course; I think their whole family was there...:stongue:
I was able to actually 'dance' a lot later than expected but eventually I did...(sans glow sticks...) :(

It was great to see us out in full force! Blissn'Trance you're awesome with those lights man! wOO! :D
I think it was Mav? (taller Indian? doOd) with red cap that did this great routine with those little lights.
Great to see the Swamper again!
TranceArmada, TranceExtacy, Cloud9, Saramon, and on and on (sorry if I forgot you!!).
My pal Tripppin had a great time! It was funny to watch her shoot down the creeps and Don Juans of the club. :D

All in all...I had a great time, and hope I'll see you guys again. Hopefully in a more friendly environment. I'm sure I will....

but for 40yr olds, their funny to a point, sure they can be funny, if maybe their in there to have a good time, u know i can accept that, because i know when I'm 50 or so, I'll definatly make an appearence evrey couple years if the scene is still around.. BUT drunk, occasionnaly drugged up 40yr old men DO NOT BELONG, and SHOULDNT be tolerated.. esp when you see them hitting on women of which they have absolutely no chances, with.
I'm telling yea, this guy was acting like he was a nig strip bar watching that girl dance, snapped a whole role of film on her.. it really disturbed me.. ing dirty old man.. |

FINALLY !!! I CAN POST AGAIN !!!
I'm glad that everyone enjoyed Corsten's set on SAT ... but it's SAD to see the crowd that BAD:(. I didn't attended this event b/c of the vibe I expected. GINOville and 40+ yr old AZNs is the worest combo ever !!! * MY UNCLE ASK ME ONCE IF I EVER BEEN TO GUV ??? "WTF ???!!!The dude is 41 yrs old !!!"
The GUV is Toronto's ELITE clubb, but face it ... 90% of the ppl who party there on SAT nites ...KILLS IT !!!
I hope GUV realize soon, to put there headliners in KOOL HAUS in the future. Those cracked out GINO's and 40+ yr old AZNs can't tell a diff if Mark Oliver or some Superstar headliners spining. Even if the sound system and lighting is not upto par to the GUV ... they will have more of a turn out and VIBE at there parties.
I hope Armin van Buuren & Mauro Picotto will be in the KOOL HAus ... instead of the GUV, but I know thats not going to happen at all. :( |

Yeah I totally agree with you. I don't go clubbing much, but had to come to this one cuz it was Ferry! But there was this one short 40 year old asian guy that kept rubbing up behind me and I'd turn around and was like "the hell??" and I moved to different places and he kept following me! Now I don't feel too good about coming to the guvernment much. Tiesto at the Kool Haus was good, I didn't see any of those dirty old men just standing there and smoking up *shudder* |
