It's not gotten bigger, they've just found a voice. It's like their version of the Civil Rights movement where they finally have the exposure to make their unified opinions known. Then it was really blown up by the homophobe Rebuplicans that made it a campaign issue to get Bush elected in 2004 by catering to their midwest and southern bases (who coincidentally also opposed the Civil Rights movement).
And BTW, if you don't think this world's overpopulated, you're probably a student of the same Republican science that says that global warming isn't happening. It may not be as bad here as it is in China and India, but they're smaller land-wise and they've been around for thousands of years before the U.S. was discovered. In a few hundred years, unless we discover how to live on another planet, we'll be at the same point China was recently/is, where the government has to limit the number of children and parents start killing off females to keep the family name alive. I'd really not as though I'd like to believe it's happening, but every ecosystem has a limit to the population that can be sustained.
EDIT: Boy did this topic get dropped while I typed. That said, I'll join the flock in dropping it, too. Sometimes, you just can't alter opinion immediately, but you can try to plant a few seeds of thought. |

Out of all these ridiculous posts in what may be one of the most shameful NYTA threads ever, this one made me throw up the most. Could you please define "female roles?" I could guess what you mean, but I'm too busy making dinner and knitting socks.
So what kind of female roles are you talking about? Wearing heels? Shopping? Decorating cell phones with rhinestones? Talking in a really really emotional, high-pitched voice? Cause let me tell you, if those are female roles that gays are adopting, they can have them, cause I don't know if I was ever much of a woman at all. And yet I seem to have pulled more than one guy in my day.
Or are you talking about a female's role of "getting ed"? In which case I might have just "broken the circle of life" hundreds of times along the way cause I've done my share of ing on contraceptives.
There are certain female roles and there are certain male roles, of course. I wish there was a woman doing her role of shutting you up... |

Hate to bring this up, but for all the young ones, club culture as always had a large gay presence in it. Sooo in sense if your buying/listening to dance music your paying some homos bills. So to rid ourselves of these vial beast we most stop listening to dance music. And buy more country music how many gays listening to country???
