i was so proud of you at first. i really thought you might've started a thread without a single spelling error in it.
the PSP is badass. i bought one with a gig memory chip for about $270 all together.
- the graphics are better, but the game library is tier.
- mp3 and certain movie codec playback
- photo viewer
- web browser that works really well- soon to have shockwave flash support and RSS video feeds. it already (i think) has RSS text and audio feed capabilities.
- good adhoc and infrastructure multiplayer support
- BIG screen, relatively long battery life (especially if you buy a new replacement battery- battery life increases about %100)
- supports up to 4 gig memory stick
AND, the best part about it:
- Hombrew software and emulators. there's nothing better than playing multiplayer quake online or having the entire SNES catalogue on a handheld. that alone makes it worth the buy.
i say buy it. |

How hard is this stuff to set up on the new PSP's? It's the only reason I'd consider buying one... |

All true. Even though the library is tier, the games are starting to roll out. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is THE BEST game out for this system, and there's more stuff on the way, without a doubt. This system is so versatile, as you just said. Defintely worth it. |

much easier than softmodding an xbox. on psp versions 2.1 and up (all the new ones) you have to buy GTA:liberty city stories, which sucks, but it's a good game anyways. then you download a hacked savegame and put it on your memory stick. when you start the UMD, it automatically loads the hacked savegame, and then it boots the homebrew loader.
so pretty much, you put all your homebrew apps and hacked savegames on your memory stick, load up GTA, and it sends you right to the emu menu. it's that easy.
the SNES, gameboy color, NES, and genesis emulators are the only really good emus out there though. there's a couple GBA emus that work slow, but give it a few months and they'll be just as good as the other ones. i'll send you some links if you end up picking one up. |

at least someone agrees with me. you knew there's a new version of FFVII coming out soon, along with a re-release of valkyrie profile..? and tekken, etc etc. there's a ton of good games coming out soon. |
