| I did when I was younger ... only pain i remember is waking up with a scrathcy throat ... like really scratchy. And begging for water, yet again I was also around 10-11 ? |

I didn't know they still did Tonsil removales. I had really bad infections when I was 13-17 but they told me that they don't take them out anymore. This was back home in MTL, but I just thought that that's what it was anywhere.
All I've heard is eat icecream, broth from soups, and JELLO. Jello feels good so I've heard because of the smoothness and whatnot.Slight discomfort is to be expected, but give it 2-3 days. . .you'll be ok. Good luck. |

the main thing that bothered me the most was that i couldn't really talk. :rolleyes:
but yes, like most of these people have stated, after a few days of popsicles, jello, and ice cream... you will feel just fine. :) |

Going to clean up my room and pack a bag for my parents place... Have to stay at mom and dad's so that someone can take care of me...
I don't know what is worse... the surgery or the post care with my mom!!

My friend Trisha got hers out when she was young and they accidentally cut off her hangy-ball thingy in the back of her throat.
Not only did she get lots of money for it, but she takes pleasure in showing people how she can stick, say, a whole banana down her throat and back and not gag! :crazy: :tongue3 :rolleyes: :D
