unfortunately i am sick too... not with mono (thank god - i already had it when i was a freshman in high school - was sick for a month) but i just found out today that i have some random viral infection. i went up to visit RJT last nite so i could take care of him, and by the time i got there, my back/neck/entire body was sooooo sore and achey... i just laid in bed tossing and turning all night, so annoyed with the back pain, and then this morning i started to get a really bad fever. FTL.
my doctor said it could be mumps too... :wtf: she had another patient earlier with the same exact symptoms so she did a mumps test on her and she's supposed to call me if it comes back positive.
at least i'm well enough to still go to work... even though sitting here with a fever sucks.
but i digress, RJT is way sicker and i don't wanna take away the sympathy and attention from him in his own thread. :p |

OK, so to those of you who've had this, what the can I do to make any of the symptoms better?
They've just gotten increasingly worse to the point where every time I get up to walk or move I am in absolute agony. It's like the muscles in my legs and back are just utterly pissed at me and don't want me to move even a little bit. The fever/cold sweats are killing me as well, and I am seriously feeling pretty much worse than any sickness I've had before (other than Kidney stones).
Is there anything, even home remedies you guys have, that could help?
The only home remedy I can think of is a drug cocktail... And it's debateable if I'm at that point yet... |
