Alitalia had some gorgeous flight attendants, both male and female. their outfits were pretty awesome too, they just looked a lot classier and fashionable than other airlines i've been on, but i guess being an Italian airline that's probably to be expected.

haha, and one of the flight attendants on one of my flights home from Greece had the same last name as me. i showed him my ticket stub with my name and he just looked at me like ... so i said "you could be my cousin!" and for the rest of the flight he kept telling all the other flight attendants when they walked by "look, she's my cousin!"

im sorry to disagree with u myra but here at least alitalia has a pretty bad reputation .....i know a lot of people who travelled with alitalia and they told me to never book a flight with alitalia because they all made the worse flight ever .

I remenber when i just landed to cairo in 2004 and in the airport began to chat with these 2 aussies who lived in london. They told me they took alitalia and would never take it again and wanted to use an another compagny to go back to london.

but maybe u was in 1st class?

I've only flown on Alaska and Southwest. I really like Alaska. Southwest, not so much. For starters, decorating the inside of the plane brown doesn't make for an interesting flight.

I haven't had any real problems anytime I've flown with either airline. My only beef is with security, as my trip to San Francisco last month was a hassle; I tried walking through the metal detector with a clear bottle of Root Beer that was half empty. I was moving the bottle around enough for anybody to clearly tell that I was hiding nothing in it. However, they refused to let me hold it and demanded that it be sent through the x-ray machine for "security purposes."

Dont know if anyone said this but I heard that Delta is getting rid of Song in July I think.

Best airline is probably Delta or United. Ive never been significantly delayed with them so theyre fine.
The worst is definitely US Airways. Holy flying they suck at life. First I get delayed a day cause they had a problem with the plane I was on. Then all they gave me was a hotel voucher. No meal tickets or flight vouchers or anything. After I bitched at them for like an hour on the phone they gave me a $125 coupon to use.

So I wanted to use that this weekend to go to Vegas.

Well a few weeks ago I checked the prices of tickets one way from Vegas (driving there, flying back) and it was $94. Then a week later when I went to make the reservation it went up to $230. I was like but it was my own fault for waiting a week til the flight so whatever, I still have that coupon to use. And since you cant use the coupon over the phone or on the internet, I had to go to the damn airport to get my ticket. So I drive an hour away and when I get there the guy tells me he cant get my ticket and that I have to go to a real US Airways ticket counter not Us Airways Express. Meaning I would have to drive another 2 hours to LA just to pick up the damn ticket. I said you, that and booked a flight with the cheap airline that flies into my town from Vegas. So,

Cheap small airlines ftw.

Edit: Ohh yeah Southwest is good too. I love picking my own seats and usually no one will sit next to me cause Ill put my in the seat next to me and kinda lean over. Awesome.

Took 3x longer to go from Springfield, Missouri to St. Louis, Missouri( a 3 hour car drive) than it did to go from St. Louis, Missouri to Baltimore, Maryland. Stupid storms and tornadoes made us stay up in the air for 3 hours circling and then we had to land somewhere to get gas and then finally got to the airport so I could catch another flight to Baltimore.

nope, i was in coach. :) it was my first international flight outside the US though, so i'm sure that because i was basing it against my experiences flying within the US, it had an impact on my opinion.

Flown with Aer Lingus a few times, the Irish one. No problems to report... would definitely recommend them. Fairly cheap too, except for the skyrocketing airport taxes.

Flown Ryanair twice.. bit of a cattle market and everyones hand luggage got squashed in the overhead bins (not mine, I hid mine under the seat). Dont like their no-seat-reserving policy tho. The flight was bumpy and people on the plane screamed when the pilot brought the plane down really, really hard landing on the runway at Kerry Airport. Was funny :D

Wouldnt fly Ryanair again unless they were much cheaper than others or unless I had to.

Jetblue FTW. I flew it twice to southern CA (Burbank and Long Beach)...great experience plus. Also a bonus that they don't fly out of LAX and deal with the nightmarish traffic out there.

Flew Song twice to Tampa, which is pretty much like Jetblue except you can buy food from the plane....both pleasent experiences

I've flown frontier from LAX to Denver. Almost like Song and Jetblue except you have to pay $5 to watch TV :whip:.

Airtran is ok in coach, but business class in great....it's definitely worth upgrading to business class the day of flight for only $35-$75 more

Continental is OK. Nothing really special about it

Best airline I have been on was British Airways.

Worst was Delta and Air Canada. Lost my luggage (more like never put them on a plane)
