No, he hasn't attacked countries yet, he's waiting for Bush to do something stupid so he can brush it aside as "proper" in the eyes of the world. I'll admit that's a smarter way of thinking, but all he's doing is waiting so that he won't be blamed - it seems he's more than eager to stir .

The dude is a master strategist, as much as one can be in this U.S. dominated world. You even concede that it's a "smarter way of thinking" so your opinion of him is all over the map. Not very consistent.

Yeah. I realize he's not directly a dictator but blocking out any options of voting for other leaders and basically public 'rigging' of the government pretty much qualifies you for dictatorship, wouldn't you agree?

I totally disagree on the grounds that you have no valid source for what you consider fact. You are basing your argument on the same sort of "conspiracy crap" that you are criticizing others for in this thread.

Furthermore, your following quote:

Makes me wonder who the you think you are to know all the accurate facts about a country you've never read up on.

I don't know all the accurate facts on the country - but to say I've never read up on it is completely false. I'd go on a giant hunt to find you sources for my info which I'd read ages ago but atm I'm somewhat tied up in procrastination - I'll do so once I'm done my work if you like (might be later in the week).

Iran is a "democracy" - as long as you ignore the fact that the unelected Supreme Spiritual Leader is the real source of power in Iranian politics; and that the reactionary Council of Guardians filters out the genuine reformist candidates for parliament and the presidency; or that the Revolutionary Guards ultimately provide the force that underpins clerical rule.

And let's not forget the vigilantes of Ansar-e-hezbollah, who go around beating up students and immodestly-attired women.

Don't let Iran's "president" fool you with skillfully crafted propaganda.

Iran has a constitutional theocracy, and is not a democracy by any intentional definition. The whole idea of democracy is being able to choose the laws you live under, representative democracy is about choosing the people that will write the laws you want to live under and Iran doesn't offer anything like that -- you vote for radical Islamicist A or radical Islamicist B because those are the choices the mullahs give you.

Of the +1000 nominees for President, +900 were prevented from running by the ruling theocrats. The same thing happens with their legislature every time they have an "election" for those seats too. They also regularly veto laws that contradict Islamicist values, while directly authoring the others.

Bravo sir.

And I shake my head at how many people buy into this pump's propaganda.

:haha: :haha: OMG are you for real?! :haha: :haha:

Dude, no matter what you say on this forum, it's always a pleasure to meet someone in person and party it up with you no matter what your beliefs are...okay, maybe except for LKD :p but srsly, you present yourself utterly retardedly. :haha: yes, I know "retardedly" isn't a word, but Shade has just defined it :D

I don't see what's retarded in what I've said - I'm doing school work and have been procrastinating it forever. I'm amused by the fact that I'm "tied up in my own procrastination" - so sorry for not going out of my way to explain myself?

Just do a search on the 12th imam. You’ll see how deranged the Iranian leader really is.

Note- I don’t have a problem with his beliefs. I do however have a problem with how he plans to go about realizing these beliefs.

The leader of Iran believes that the 12th imam is in a well. He believes that the only way the 12th imam will come out of this well is when Iran causes great destruction and bloodshed by killing the Jews and destroying Israel.

The issue is deffintly not black and white. As with all in the world there are wrongs being done on both side. Its just a matter of which wrongs are worse then others in my mind.

keep defending a person that called the holocaust a myth and is enriching uranium. and before you start freaking out and crying about how Iranians deserve nuclear power, notice I didn't say they didn't just that this freak doesn't.
