I was in LA for my sister's graduation so I actually got to go to this party. Fanciulli and Mojo were both SICK but I have to give the edge to Mojo, he just killed it. Avalon's a sick venue but the LA crowd sucks compared to MTL crowds. Avalon + MTL peeps = ftw

Avalon is full of sketchy drug addicts. Beautiful venue though... Montreal needs a place that brings Fanciulli, Woolford AND Mojo in one night. Hehehhehe. That place must make an absolute fortune.

Drug addicts for sure. Some dude walked up to me, started talking a bit, "Sick tunes, how's your night" stuff. Then he asks me to hold his water bottle for a second (we're standing out in the open, bouncers all around) and he takes out a little vial of coke and spots himself a big bump on the side of his hand...wtf? Dude, they have bathrooms, don't get my ass thrown outta here because you can't control yourself.

The problem with the LA crowd is that over half the people there don't even know the DJs' names. They're just there because it's a party, which is fine, but I guess that's what separates the LA crowd from the MTL crowd.

That's why you gotta love Montreal. We know music better than most cities. In Los Angeles, Avalon especially, it's all about the party, not the music. I really wanna experience a Toronto party to see what the difference is between Toronto and Montreal. Who knows... maybe I'll make a trip down for LOL this fall.... hmmmmmm

All u see is cracked out 50yr old asians rolling on pills with glowsticks. Same with NYC unfortunately. To be honest, Toronto doesnt have much of a vibe. I think Montreal will always have that, or at least for the time being. Ppl are definitely cooler and all around nicer. Hopefully, i can visit there in the summer for the Godskitchen festival.

You know what my question is about those 40 year old cracked out asians? Do they get up and work a 5-9 job Monday through Friday?
