Hahah,
I'm dissapointed because GG seems like the perfect event to bring big headliners who rarely come to Montreal and so far .... nothing. Lawler is spinning here already twice in two months and I bet he'll come at least one more time after GG and that's the only one that comes not-so-often unlike the others....
Im just happy I don't see DJ DAN on that list :p

Oh yeah PS: If it has to be trance Lawrence > AVB anytime .... although I would of preffered PVD over anyone, too bad the dude hates Canada:whip:

Lawrence stays to Trance while Armin has already made the move to progressive. Seriously, I prefer dancing (or jumping call it whatever you want) on CL than Armin. I love to listen to Armin because tracks are more melodic.
Yeah I know that Trance is near end in Mtl but it's still alive in Europe or even Toronto.
Anyway, my tastes are REALLY different from you Jay so:p

i agree with you nick...
but as long as people keep paying over and over for the same things, lets face it we will always be stuck with the same group of dj's over and over.
and hacker...toronto didnt have a sonic before;)
go take a look, its only been open a few weeks and the trance heads in toronto have been converting to the filthyer side of music:p
i know i like to bitch, i just have a really bad feeling about this event.Same old Dj's combined with a venue that might not be equipped to handle the crowd.(beach club legal capacity is 4500 i was told once, and there is barely enough parking when it isnt full;) )
They obviously dont give a what people think.I mean why would they bother creating a poll on who we want to see,put Sasha and Digweed on it to get our hopes up,then book Dj's that almost all have multiple gigs in this town before the event.To me this smells like 514 changing their name to Godskitchen and trying to up more than they already have;) Ie:like calling that monstruosity at Circus Swirl....i am ing insulted.
I am way more excited for ninja tunes piknik electronic and hawtin & villalbos than this retarded lineup. |
