taurine is an intracellular osmolyte that regulates cell volume and stabalizes membranes. basically it helps with blood flow and prevents heart attacks and stroke when taxing your body with party drugs. they use taurine suppliments as treatment in cardiovascular diseases, hypercholesterolemia, epilepsy and other seizure disorders, macular degeneration, alzheimer's disease, hepatic disorders, alcoholism and cystic fibrosis. best part is it's completely odorless and tasteless and you can eat it by the spoonful.
rhodiola rosea is an adaptogenic herb that helps your body adjust to stressful and tramatic situations. it produces a normalizing action on the body and increases resistance to adverse influences such as drugs and their metabolites. it's been used to treat stress, moodiness and anxiety. i've always noticed i wake up early, energetic and feeling like a million bucks after taking this stuff the night before.
idebenone is a synthetic variant of coenzyme q10 which is a critical cerebral stimulant and one of the safest, most powerful antioxidants you can put in your body. as a suppliment it normalizes atp levels which prevents damage to mtdna from free radicals so it also has a strong antiaging effect also. it basically protects your body from a myriad of negative things mostly related to cellular damage, but has also been shown to enhance brain function as well. idebenone is used to enhance serotonin production in patients with cerebrovascular dementia.
melatonin is a natural hormone in your body that is synthesized from the same amino acid as serotonin. it is a powerful antioxidant that enhances your immune system and also regulates your body's sleep pattern. it's used to treat all kinds of sleep disorders, depression and cancer. don'take more than 4.5mg of this per day or you'll mess with your brain's ability to naturally produce it. i take 3mg every night.
5htp is an immediate precursor to serotonin, the neurotransmitter that all drugs of abuse affect negatively. in the case of e, rolling hard one night will completely flush your neurons of serotonin and leave you in a depressive state. supplimenting partying with 5htp will reduce the deficit and depressive comedown drastically. don't take more than 200mg of this stuff per night. i usually take 100mg or 150 max.
all this mixed in a cup of organic green tea + a bowl of weed 5 min before i want to pass out = almost ZERO comedown, certainly no worse off than a mild hangover...
:) |
wow, that's quite the post-load! i usually take 5-htp, vitamin C, a multi-vitamin, and magnesium... but i may have to look into some of that other stuff too since it seems to do some pretty positive things for your body. |

"(closest i can describe it was that i was actually SEEING my thoughts in my brain in the forms of pictures)." very accurate description of a hallucinogenic type of drug. Where did you get this bad acid? LOL I want some!!!:p |
i'm 99% sure what i had was molly since the others that were also rolling felt completely fine and were having fun (on mdma). maybe it's the dosage, but i've had times where i've taken WAY too much (halloucinating and totally incapacitated) and just barely enough to feel it. and in my lifetime, i've rolled less than 10 times, which in the grand scheme of things, is not a huge amount. i've been on acid and i know what that feels like...but it's different. out of every drug i've ever tried, the drug that puts me at lack of control the most (actions and even controlling my thoughts) is E. at any dose. it's very hard to describe with words, but it almost gives a bittersweet feeling. you know you're soooooooo happy - physically, but there's something *not quite right* with it (in a bad way).
haha but i LOVEEEEEE to be around rolling friends when i'm not rolling. they're so happy and wonderful..and i know for a fact that i don't act like that when i roll, i sit down, don't talk, and wait for it to be over. oh well, like i said before, people's brains are different and even though there's a load of seratonin rushing through your brain, there's still my thoughts asking what's making me happy? ...oh a drug. there's no real reason (in my life) why i'm so happy right now, and that it'll all go away within a few hours. blehhhhhhhhh.

Yeah, but for me, it's sort of, "I am happy. What doesn't make me happy? Oh, right, that all doesn't matter anyway." It kind of forces acceptance of a memory or thought because there's none of the threat that you'd normally have when contemplating it. I guess it taught me that I did have an option in how I choose to look at my memories and decisions in life, and that I didn't have to be miserable about them if I didn't want to be.
But anyhow. Drugs affect everyone differently, and your mileage may vary. Shulgin, one of the original promoters of the compound for therapy, didn't get much more than a modest alcohol intoxication from MDMA. I think one of the big problems with the drug scene is, "My drug is better than anyone else's!". |
