well then clearly you have a lot of insightful and meaningful things to contribute to the subject at hand.

No I don't dislike it :)

I'll let you know again at the end of the summer after I've had some more experience with it.

I do not really understand--or perhaps said more accurately--I do not really sympathize with that view, i.e. "I cannot enjoy E b/c I know the effects / experiences are only chemically-induced, i.e. not real". I feel that a large majority, if not all, drugs produce 'fake' emotions, feelings, thoughts, and so on. For instance, when someone gets drunk and they become unusually brave and confident (similar to Coke) when they are typically quite shy and introverted, is it not obvious that the pharmacological properties of the alcohol have produced such reactions?

I believe that having a positive experience with any drug, particularly drugs like E which have a strong impact on one's emotions, is dependent upon putting oneself into the right mindset: if you know that you are going to be partying hard one night / one weekend, look at using E as something out of the ordinary, i.e. "this is going to be a special night where I am going to have a lot of fun on a drug and have new experiences on a drug, but tomorrow normal, regulated life returns".

I think that my advice applies most especially to occasional users, not regular users (b/c for the latter, drug use may not be as much of an aberration from the norm).

Comments?

Well I could but all I need to say is I don't see the point in taking drugs, unless I need to use the kind for curing an illness.

no you really couldn't. The thread is about whether one likes or dislikes a substance. Having never tried it you cannot have an informed opinion. Whether or not you see the point is inmaterial as to whether or not you like them. You don't know so you cannot say.

I've been educated too much about the effects of them and have only heard bad stories about the effects on others, and it was enough for me to dislike them without even trying.

Therefore, I choose to dislike them and I'm still not interested in taken any, regardless.

You presume you would dislike them, that is not the same as disliking them. You have no frame of experience therefore you are illequiped to pass any first hand judgement (which is what this thread is about).

I'm still sticking to my guns...

...but OK, maybe I'm in the wrong thread then.

I don't that you lack grounds for your decision to avoid use of this drug (or any drug for that matter). As much as I am a fan of drugs I do believe that anyone who decides not to do them is probably making a wise decision. My point is that you may have all the reasons in the world to not do drugs but unless you actually do them you cannot opine as to whether or not you like them. Liking or disliking something requires that you first experience it... that's all.

hmmm, i see what you mean by that but there are a lot of arguments against it hehe.

For example, I have never experienced rape, but I dislike rape intensely. Your comment, as applied to drugs, is pretty spot on though.
