I finally got around to listening to the second cd, and I have to say that I really liked the first quite a bit more. The second was a little less my style - a bit darker and more twisted. I really did NOT like that remix of the Slam track. The original is pretty good imo, but that mix almost ruined the set for me right there.
I'm definitely keeping the first cd for some time -- great replay value. But probably not the second. Wasn't really my cup of tea. I got the same feeling from Fundacion the first time I listened to it -- I expected more of the same style I was used to for Sasha (like Involver for example); good for enjoyable chilling and foot tapping -- much like your first cd was. But got a bit more dirty dancefloor prog than I expected. To each their own of course, and I will still be watching closely for your next mix! Technically you guys are very good and I'd be interested in hearing what you could do sober. |
