I don't know... look at Chelsea's defense and you'll see even though Cech is a very secure goalkeeper, he's not the kind that stops the unstoppable, he's just solid.
I think Lehman or Buffon are better right now. And I wouldn't leave Casillas out, he's known to save the unstoppable but you're right, he can mess up the easy ones too at times. |

I don't think many people rate him that high. I'd have to do some thinking before choosing between Buffon, Cech and Casillas, but wouldn't place Lehmann at that level.
Oliver Kahn is old and far from his best yet still challenges him for a place in the national team. |

Lehman had a great ending of season, I'm talking about goalkeepers who are on top form at the moment. Buffon is recovered and doing great and Lehman pretty much stopped everything these last 3 months... He was one of the reasons Arsenal made it to finals of the UCL, can't deny that.
Casillas did allow many goals last couple of months at Real... but of course his defense didn't really back him up. Remains to be seen what he can do with the national squad.
There are way too many good goalkeepers from the top candidates except for Brazil (Dida just sucks)... |

I see the Czech Republic finishing last. I do not think they match up well against any of the other teams. Italy and the US advance.

:wtf: lehmann why all the hate for Cech....the Czech team doesnt have a great defense and he is brillant with them. :rolleyes:
USA is playing now but playing Latvia....the beat Venezuela 2-0 a few days ago but lost to Morocco.....rating them is really hard if any of the teams play like they should in the group they will finish last IMO
thing that pisses me off is that the broadcasters treat us like n00bs we already know what a corner is :whip: |
