I agree Australia chances of getting out of the group arent all that but theyll be in some entertaining games

Japan has had a great first half against Germany on BayArena.
It pisses me off that Schweinsteiger didn't get a ing card for that challenge on Kaji who had to be substituted. They were playing brilliant until he got injured, Hope he comes back soon and doesn't miss the World Cup.
Would be a shame if he missed it :( |

| it could be either Japan being actually strong, or Germany being complete . i know the later is the more popular option, but i'm more inclined to think Japan is going to do something here. |

| Definitly one of the hard groups to call for runner up spot. Austrailia have a good team and a great coach. Think they will edge this. |

I guess he forgot to say "in no order" :wtf: |
um, no he didn't forget. if there was "no order" then there would be no numbers next to the countries, now would there?

He could've been high too. |
well, i am not going to rule this one out, but without knowing the guy personally, i am still going to give him the benefit of the doubt in what he posted.

| Edmilson has injured himself and is out of the world cup. Mineiro from São Paulo has been called for his place. |

sucks for him....wondering if its the same knee he injured in 2004-2005 with barca:conf: |

Bad news that for Brazil, probably won't hurt their chances to make it through.
This group has become pretty interesting over the last couple of days/week.
Akira Kaji will be fit in Japan's opener in the World Cup according to the team doctors. Moniwa has been called back from vacation. |

| That's really bad, Mineiro is good(i'm a SPFC fan) but not outstanding |

Same knee, different injury. He tore his right ACL in 2004. This time, he tore his meniscus. It's not anything that's career threatening. |
