Although Australia are very inexperienced at this stage, we have one major advantage:

Guus Hiddink!

The man is a genius! Anything can happen with him in charge :p

*EDIT*

Well Kewell played 85 mins of a warm up game last night. We won 8-1 against a Dutch ameuter team.

GOALS:

3 - Josh Kennedy
2 - Harry Kewell
2 - John Aloisi
1 - Tim Cahill

Not a bad effort, and especially good to see our main attacking players returning from injury. Aloisi, Cahill and Kewell are the key to our attack, along with Bresciano and Viduka. If those guys are all playing well, amazing things might happen :D

You'll be waiting a bloody long time for anything to happen with kewell! the guy is utter e! his best days were 5 years ago! and i'm a liverpool fan! i've seen him play plenty! he's a lazy bastard who does all! off topic as long as england get humpted i'll be happy!! :)

I would say Croatia is going to have a hard time going through because of the potential that Japan has. The same goes with Australia, but we've seen big things happen with Guus Hiddink's men..

Croatia lost to Poland.

Poland played very well today, both in the defence where Jop was my man of the match and in the offense.

Croatia had a couple of chances to score, and should've done so, Srna was denied by the crossbar.

Poland was actually better today and had pretty many chances themselves..

Croatia has to improve their game ;)

australia vs holland. boo-yaH!

Hiddink is an excellent manager but he can't do miracles all the time. In fact qualifying was already a miracle for Australia. I know they have quality players like Viduka, Bresciano, Kewell, Emerton, Aloisi, but still wouldn't tip them to advance.

They were playing very good today Paranoik0.

Brazil is playing against New Zeeland and I've found a good player from New Zeeland called Mulligan :D

Anyways, Ronaldo scored the first goal after great work and pass by Kaká, later on Adriano scored from no position at all, just standing there and shooting the ball in the net, Very beautiful.

Croatia lost to Spain yesterday.

But they will play a lot better when it comes to the World Cup, also, The pressure on them is tremendous of what I've heard.
