I agree with you on this. Although Croatia does have what it takes to qualify as well, I wouldn't be much surprised if Japan managed to get the 2nd place, even if it were a bit of a fluke.
No matter how much I like the Aussies, I wonder how far their squad can go. |

Australia won against Greece in Melbourne earlier today.
They sure deserved to win the game after their first half, Greece on the other hand was very poor in the first half but came back in the second.
Josip Skoko scored a beautiful goal and people cheered when he was substituted. He surely deserved those standing ovations.
If Australia shows this good spirit and play they could have a lot bigger chance to go through this group. Brazil will probably be very hard to beat as you all can understand, but even though I have respect for Croatia and their players I've got to say that I'm not quite sure that they will pass this group very simple.
Japan is also a great team, they can play well at times and I hope they can lift themselves during the World Cup.
About Croatia, They won 4-1 in Austria two days ago and very well deserved. Ivan Klasnic was great and scored 2 goals, According to reports Ivica Olic and Dado Prso was also good.
Croatia is my favourites with Brazil, But I still think they can get a hard time going through this group if Australia and Japan plays well, So, Don't count them out they could surprise aswell.. |

Rooting for the Green and Gold boys, thanks to Guus Hiddink for making real football happen in Australia and not that AFL bull.
This is the prime of football in Australia, they have never witnessed a world cup like this it will be great for the country.
Australia really impressed me against Greece last night and I hope they can keep the pace up if not even better in the world cup. I know we won't beat brazil or croatia but i think we really have a chance against Japan. |
