LOL... there's no truth to that at all.... I think most people, like myself, did try that before and use to do that all the time, but one of the reasons they stopped WAS because all the would see is the SAME PEOPLE and always be in the SAME ATMOSPHERE. If you like to have things unchanged and always the same, then yeah doin that would be better, but when you do that all the time you get sick of it, that's why alot of us go out to see the DJ who's spinning and not for the people.

Totally agree. I used to go to clubs all the time and it was just a big social hour cuz I always saw and spoke to the same people. Plus, the d.j always played the same music - you could practically predict his play list and the order of the songs. Parties (raves as some would call them) are way better. Sure, you see a lot of the same people but you meet much more new faces each time. It's awesome.

Spoutnik, no harm done at all. I'll make sure to call on you next time I go to Montreal. I'd love to see if you guys can party hard, if not harder, than us partiers in Ontario.

Now i would love to go see them (I go for the Dj)
But If the venue is so ty (i.e. Sona), i would change my mind and just see them somewhere else , or just dont go at all.

Wow... i'm not that drastic when it comes to venues, but then again it all depends on who's spinning because if it's someone who won't be comming back for awhile, then i'll see them regardless of venue.. i just block all the miscellaneous crap that comes with it out. But if it's someone that i know would be comming back at least by this summer, then if the venue isn't up to par or the type of crowd isn't right then i'll just not go based on that.

Whether the venue is ty or not plays a big role in deciding whether or not to go see a certain dj. If it's ty I won't go BUT only if I know that that same dj will be in town on another date at another venue. If the venue is hosting an awesome dj, I'll still go regardless of how ty it is cuz it might be my only chance to get to see that dj live.

I know what you ve been through last time @ SONA Zing, but let s not forget it was during the extended set of max graham and it s normal for the place to be crowded. Nobody forced you to go and dance in front of the dj it s always packed there. If you decided to moove to a corner instead it was less crowded...
