| i was pondering this a while ago... Personally, if it wasnt for e, i would have never, ever listened to trance. It opened my mind up to a whole new type of music. I believe the first song i listened to was DJ Dean - It's a Dream, and once i heard that song i fell in love with trance. I was wondering if there were any other people who have gotten into trance almost soley because of e. |

I started liking trance music when I was 12 and I never took anything. Not many 12 year olds even like dance music, apart from the odd young chav of course who have no taste in it! :o |

i liked 'dance' music when i was a child and when the 90s came and the summer of 99, that was it, that was the pinnicle of my liking for music
just one after another, i would hear these pre-trance tunes on the radio and in the mainstream, got me questioning it, so i bought cds and compilations and over a while i had accumulated quite a collection of electronic compilations, thats when i figured, ok i like trance
the genre kinda defined itself over a period of a few years, now its gawn off on one and theres tech,hard,nrg,prog etc
back in the 90s it wasnt all like that, it was just dance music, well from my opinion anyway.

hmmm. i don't think i've heard a more false statement. It simply just exposed me to something i've never heard before. Ever since then, i listen to trance quite frequently, sober or not. |

since that was teh first time you listened that means that you would had listened to trance even if you weren't on E ? |
