Sounds like my job. I gotta love/hate thing going though. Love it on Mondays, but Hate it the rest of the week. |

A good friend of mine found me this job - it's his old job in fact - he was promoted out of state.
The great appeal was something nice and easy for the next 6-8 months while I applied to grad schools, looked around. After determinging that there isn't e to do left in Michigan I'm interested in, the Move Plan was born.
Now I'm a penny-pinching, saving every dime, selling 2/3 of what I own entrepeneur via ebay & craigslist just checking off the days till end of July/mid-August when the Move Plan goes into effect. My lease is up June 30th on my house so I am busy packing away everything (I have 3 roommates yet everything in the house is mine - they will find themselves with 3 plates, 2 bowls, a few misc silverware, two couches, and one TV after I leave) and seperating it into three sections - going to Colorado, Garage Sale, and donation/trash.
Too much to do, so little time to do it = stressed out Kris. I am looking foward to my double dutch dance weekend in Toronto - tunes, friends, and dancing (along with Nutella crepes). |

My good friend (and former roommate) Karen is moving to Calgary this weekend with her boyfriend Dan. She said it's beautiful and reminds her of Chicago/Toronto combined. |

P.S. I agree with Kris...never been there, but a friend of mine lived there for a few years and he showed me a ton of pictures, and holy crap it's gorgeous. |

Awww....sorry to hear you hate it, and sorry to rub it in but I absolutely LOVE my job...I just graduated and got an incredible job - if there was anything I would have wanted to do after I graduate - this is it :)

Yah, my buddy James lives in Calgary and he loves it. Only thing is the completely ed up streets system. Well wait, it's like Toronto has, where at certain times of day, some lanes of the street go different ways.
I need to get out there one day to visit that bastard. |
