I hated my job. So I quit.
I just started this past monday at a film/tv production company as their very first scheduler. I hated my first day (does anyone like their first day?), but have been loving it so far. Nice people, and I'm appreciated.
Here's to change! |

Two more weeks and I can give my notice.....may Boulder, Colorado hold far better situations than this one. |

lol @ Niall - I don't know if it's ever been called Boulder City but it's at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains - higher in elevation than Denver. Those mountains in the picture are the Flatirons - behind them are the Rockies. It's about an 18 hour drive from Detroit to Boulder if you go straight through and speed like hell through corn country.

OK, so I finally had the nerve to tell my boss (who is also my father) that I don't want to work for him anymore.
I didn't put in my resignation yet, but I gave him the heads up.
He was totally fine with it. He understands and told me that he justs wants me to be happy.
What a relief! I am my own source of stress...
Anywho... now, things can look better... :) |

Got a job offer to work at a womens gear store in Boulder. Problem is, it's a pretty good paycut. Hmmmm.....if I take it, I can always keep looking but it would mean a job ready when I get out there.

sometimes a pay cut is worth the job...
That is one thing I am worried about too. This job is in Vaughn area, which means I will be commuting until I find a place to stay... which means more money in gas etc...
