well i've never done E or any other dumb thing.. (for me that is)
but i've had a friend.. whos done E and it had screwed her up royaly in the socal.. side.. and seriosuly.. it's her own fault for take it.. i'm not gona defend her.. cuz she lost many friends beacus oof it.. :whip: :clown: |

I'm sorry Julie but I'm going to have to disagree with you. I've seen many friends give into E and many fall to their lowest for E and different drugs, but you don't call them stupid or desert them.. WHY? well cause real friends don't do that ! Everyone hits rock bottom and many do lose friends.. these were not true friends. YES drugs are bad but people do it for their own reason, as you've choosen not to! Don't JUDGE!
Say NO to drugs, but don't look down upon |

True story...I just keep watch for them and make sure they're alright.
If they need a drive home, I'll drive, I don't give them a hard time, unless it becomes a regular thing. THEN I'll probably mention something if they don't already know by that point. I've never had to do that luckily... |

Time to bring this baby back. This was a really good and informative thread before the server crash (in which like 5 pages were lost).
I thought I'd bring it around since I've finally done E a couple of times this past year(lol, I like my first post on here tho...heheheh). And we have a number of new "e-tards" (;)) on this board that could probably contribute to this.
Anyways; on to the topic at hand. X hasn't really affected me much...it's just a new experience in life for me. I have to admit, that being at a party while on it is a lot better than on weed or alcohol. But thats not to say that I can't enjoy myself any other way, cuz I can. This past summer though, I think I went a little overboard doing it. It's not that I did it too many times, but in 2 weekends I've done it on every night we went out. The last time I was slowly getting bored of it.

for me it was out of sheer curiousity. I was getting more and more intrigued by it. My first pill was a 'Mitsubishi'. I did it with my friends the night before New Years Eve. I don't think I'm ever going to forget that experience.
And Dea; I've tried to describe to a number of people too, and I always pause...and think...and think...lol, you can't really put that sort of feeling into words, but I like what you compared it to. |

Holy . I can't believe you resurrected this thread Peter! I remember reading this one..this is almost a 2 years old! I remember Trancextacy's post on here was really good, but it was lost in the server crash. And some of the TAs in this thread I never see on these boards at all anymore ie liquidchick and Maverick.
I never posted in the first thread, so I'll post in this one. Done E probably a total of 8-10 times. Nothing is ever like the first time though, or even the second and third times. I don't think I would have gotten so much into the scene and the music right away if it wasn't for it. The health, social, financial etcc...repurcusions of using it now seem too much to bother...and seem to outweigh the benefits of it..but we all know why it's bad..so IMO this is why it's good.
1. It gives you the energy to dance all night..and generally tolerate a whole night of partying.
2. It enhances the music in a way that can't be done without it. You don't need E to enjoy the music, but it creates an experience that is very uniqe and surreal.
I wouldn't condone it's use, but again, I would be a hypocrit to diss other people who do it. It's a risk..but then life is full of risk. |

LOL, it's funny how things have changed for some people(myself included) over the 2 past years that this thread was dead :D
Heheh.. I still remember the times when pretty much all TAs were sober at parties. I guess many of us grew older and smarter, and realize now that there isn't much hard in doing it once in a while. The key is to only do it on a very special occasions, so that it doesn't lose it's magic and doesn't affect your life in a negative way.
As far as affecting my life.. I once ed up a job interview with Amazon.com cause I was still brain dead after a party(Orkidea and J00F). Other than that, not really.
Still, to those who never tried it, I'd recommend against it. |
