i guess i wasn't around when this thread started....but as far as i'm concerned, i'm drug free. And for the some who think weed is a herb, i'm herb free as well :p
My dad is a chemist so i got alotta "education" about drugs from my dad. From what i remember, he never told me not to do drugs, he simply told me what they do and he let me decide.
I guess i never got the chance nor the courage. We never know what the future have in store for anyone. I'm sure when the right time comes i would decide to eventually experience XTC. |

And yes, I have been corrupted by this magic pill, it provided me with a lot of trippy trippy experiences, interesting insights and ideas, friendships, etc, some bad things too (screwed up a bit in school... ok, a lot!), and it was fun while it lasted.
Fortunately, that chapter in my book has been closed for a while, and I've moved onto some better things in life now... |

I think it has a lot do with the fact that i didn't get into the scene at the same time i tried the drugs. Therefore I've learned to enjoy the experiance without tripping. Knowing that I can have a wicked time if I'm sober means a lot.
I do totally believe in moderation and feel that ecstasy use every once in a while is is fine. However, it seems this is kind of hard to do. It scares me when ppl drop multiple pills a night and do it every weekend. I have friends who do that and it definetly affects the rest of their lives. "Depression" is definetly the most noticable side effect to me.

my advice is; if you decide to try it, just do it to kill the curiosity. make sure you don't get hooked though
ones I experienced a bad trip without taking anything, so this is how a bad trip (might) feel;
the day I got back from holidays (around 6 pm), I was soooo tired. I was barely awake, and I had jetlag. my ex was waiting for me, and she gave me a welcome back treat :p. after that I was just done. she left and I fell asleep while sitting on the coach. 1 hour later, my roommate comes home and wakes me up.
I was so ed :eyespop: , I didn't know where I was and started acting :crazy: . I started talking to him in Romanian (apparently in a freaky way).
he got scared and called my ex to ask her what's up with me
anyways I just love to tell this story, sorry to bore you :D |

hehe, that reminds me of the first time i did e. talla 2xlc @ viva, and the whole night i was checking my pants, cuz it felt like i pissed them, lol. such an incredible feeling.
but yeah, after that, it just wasn't the same. started looking forward to doing as much as the party itself, which wasn't good.
i'm glad i had a bad pill one night, cuz it made me stop and realize how crazy it can get. 6 months since i've done it, and i don't plan on starting back up any time soon.
it sure as hell does enhance the experience tho. :p just don't make it a habit. |

I am so glad that this topic is up... I started browsing TA a few weeks ago after I dropped the first time. I was never into trance, never been to the Guv, ( just The Drink) and for whatever reason found myself there with a friend, and honestly the opportunity to try E presented itself right infront of us. I have never been into drugs, dont even like smoking up...so why I did it i don't know...but I did, and just like all of u who have done it know ...It was Unreal. SInce then I have enraptured myself into this scene. I wanted to share my experiences with people, but oddly found the topic of E passee and very unnaproachable by ppl into trance and such. I found that odd and upsetting since I hoped all of you could maybe understand me a little more than people I would normally confide in ie. Family/friends.
I am still going to enjoy it for alittle longer... But for those who have yet to try it, I am very confused with what to say. I would never like to think that I could encourage the use of any drug, so I wont...although a huge part of me wants to share what i felt with everyone even though I know a lot of bad accomanies the good ( as with everything in life)Be your own judge.
