Kudos.. That part of what you said (quoted above) is a damn mature post....
Let me just get in my $0.02 (realize that what I'm about to say actually cost many people much more than $0.02...):
Drugs don't ruin people. Abusing them ruins people (and their lives).
Being responsible with drugs is using them in moderation - and learning and knowing what drugs are too powerful (tempting) and not using them. For some people - the drug of pain is E, for others it is coke, for others meth - and for some (IMO more than they realize) it is alcohol and herb.
Again.... "drugs don't kill people, people abusing drugs (and making crappy decisions) kill people"
Bottom line is - if a drug becomes a crutch, becomes a focus, becomes a reason (for anything) - get the hint and realize that the drug is way too powerful over you (read: you are less powerful than it) --- and stop. It's not worth going through the trials and tribulations.
Some people can use any drug, any time - and not have a problem. Most people will find 1, 2 or all drugs cause problems in their lives. If you choose to use - pay close attention to which drug will be your downfall (for each it is different).
I'm not saying don't use drugs. I'm saying use them responsibly - and if you find one that you can't control - stop - no matter what it takes (move away, stop going to parties, loose friends, etc) - otherwise pain and "knashing of teeth" (sorry to be biblical) will occur - and it will take years to fix.
Anyways - advice is always worth more in retrospect. Best of luck - may good decisions and even better priorities grace your being...

and lastly: if you know someone who uses drugs - let them post it - rather than bring it up for them.. :) |

ya, like RJ said...very mature way of putting it. I'd never try to convince anyone to take E, or any drug for that matter. It's their own decision, and I'd be quicker to let them know what they're getting themselves into than to say "go for it" or "no, don't do it".
I'm gonna enjoy it for a little longer too; my first time was this New Years, and even though I did it more times than I wanted to do it this August, right now I'm gonna try to take a step back and relax from it for a few months. Last 2 times I did it, it was unbelievable and I don't wanna get to a point where I'm sayin "damn, this isn't as good as it used to be".
It's a damn powerful and risky drug, so you gotta take it responsibly and know full well what you're getting yourself into.
Man, am I glad I brought this back :cool:

pills arent what they used to be though. i remember when double stacks were actually doubles and when speed was in all of the pills. nowdays i have to take at least 2 mdmas and a few speedies to get the same effect as a 1998 superman. fuking new age chemists:whip: :whip:
edit:::: remember when back in the day there were actually multiple peaks to the pills. grrrrrrrrrrrr makes me so mad. now its just a flat peak most of the time :( |

i remember reading this thread 2 years ago. i was brutally against drugs and everything. back then i partied sober but like everyone here, the curiosity of taking that magical pill was at its highest peak. first time i took it was this year in may and it was a pink lexus. oh yea, it hit me hard, really hard and i was en flyen the whole night :) since then ive done E about 7 times. i only do it on special occasions and i try to stay away from Guv :crazy: if i would be going to Guv every week, surely there is no way i woudln't be coming back home sober :wtf: the last 6 times i did E i only had 2 experiences that were sort of close to the first time. the rest were just "alright". i realised that the rest of the times ive had ty pills. i did 2 E's last time and my comedown wasnt that bad, i was surprised that i actually felt alright. to be honest i never had a bad comedown. yes E did open my life for the better and im happy that i tried it.
i will enjoy E for a little bit longer and see how experiences will go. if they'll suck then i guess there is no point of doing it :) |
