good question lol
I kinda wanna freefall for abit, but actually, maybe its better to just cruise down by yourself and enjoy stuff for longer.
like okay, my first time, I want a tape of it, so tandem is best for that. I know I will go again, and then again, and eventually work our way up to super heights, so tandem seems the best maybe.

going thur the training and stuff would be totally cool, so now i'm thinking solo lol! maaaaaaaaan! someone sway me one of the ways lol |

well lets put it this way, your solo fall is only a few seconds of free falling, while tandem is about 40 (enough to lose your voice)
so i would like to fall instead to parachute my way down :tongue2 |

If you are going to be jumping again in the future.. start with the static line solo jump and work your way up. There will be no freefall, but you can eventually get your solo jump license (after about 20 jumps).
However, if you will only be jumping once, it makes more sense (and it will be way more fun) to do the tandem jump since they usually jump from 10,000 ft and the freefall is exponentially longer (30 secs, vs. about 1-2 seconds on the static line). |
