| I had the most surreal moment on Friday. In a little town about 30,000 in population, there was an open-air festival with live music. This one band was playing rock music when "Sweet Home Alabama" came on. To my surprise, everyone started singing along. They all knew the words even though some of them can barely string a sentence together. When I told them how funny I found this, they explained to me because the song is simple and the lyrics easy to follow, it is easy to remember and sing along. :haha: |

ha, that's funny. whenever i was in europe (especially germany), and an american song came on, the europeans always seemed to know the lyrics much better than i did :haha: |
