Wow. Utter insanity. Just getting home from afters ...

Rob / Myra / Yuris - I feel terrible that you guys weren't able to get in tonight. I wish there was something some of us could've done.

:(

Great seeing everyone out tonight. All I can really say to sum up the night is John ing Digweed.

We could have gotten in, just didn't want to put up with the bull of which there was plenty. We got there shortly after 11 and about 20-30 people were allowed through in the next 30 minutes out of a crowd of 200+ and they were all folks who had table service. The line for those on rsvp, etc. didn't even move at all in that period.

I found a much better use of my time kicking back at the house with Rob, Myra and a case of beer till 3 am.

Oh cruel world, when are crowbar bouncers gonna learn that us TA's are ultra VIPS.

I'd like to say quadruple fisting was somehow justified because of how long it took to get a beer, but honestly I was just trying to up my score next time we all take the "Are you an alcoholic?" test.

Needless to say I concur with everyone else that we all missed Rob, Myra & Yuris. The Crobar line is always annoying, I'll never forget trying to meet Christen there and paying $25 after 1 1/2 hour wait for just their residents without a headliner. We'll party hard with the 3 of you tonight!

was it crowded?
how was the crowd?

Wow that rocked my face off. I was expecting a lot less fun of a night after not "digging" a lot of the more minimal tracks off of Transitions, but man did Digweed deliver.

I hadn't been to Crobar in several years, but thought the Soundsystem was great, the tracks that everyone played ruled, and the crowd was overall very very fun. Got to meet some of you (I'm terrible with names, though and don't remember who were TAs).

That line out the door looked like a bitch, but luckily the planets aligned for us. Sorry to hear not everyone that planned on coming made it.

Passing out til localized.

Great in time!!!
John owned us for sure! That encore was just ridiculous too..was only expecting one track given the way things usually play out. But we got three, no? Just an amazing finish to an amazing set IMO.

I almost didnt think we'd get in after pulling up to the area around 1215 and seeing it completely packed and a healthy line outside. But we waited for about 45 minutes and got in no problems. Wished I couldve made it to see Chloe and others but my gf had to work.

Glad everyone had fun, especially the Digweed virgins too. This was definitely the best I've seen John play solo.

Hadnt been to Crobar in a few years either and thought it wasnt bad. Thought the soundsystem was great on the dancefloor.

It was the most crowded I've ever seen Crobar. BUT - thankfully totally tolerable. This night was incredible. Talk about a VIBE. It was everything the Richie Hawtin show wasn't. It was COOL. Like they had the f'in A/C on all night or something. I mean COOL FRESH AIR blowing in your face!! Felt so good, lol. It was NOT SMOKY! Actually someone I was talking to last night said Richie Hawtin likes it hot so that might have been why it was so damn hot and nasty in there that night. They said Richie Hawtin was weird like that or something. ?

and, sorry for everyone who couldn't get in!!! that really sucks.. :(

There wasn't much light at all in the DJ booth so taking flashless pics was pretty tough. That is my disclaimer for the myriad of dark shots, lol. First row is Lauer, then Chloe, then madness. Thanks to Seneca for getting some INCREDIBLE shots of the dancefloor crowd towards the end and also getting some nice side-view shots of Digweed (see page 2 of pics). I stayed behind the booth for the whole night, as Digweed dropped bomb after bomb... god. Chloe and Lauer also had great sets. Great to meet Chloe.

And a few more things - ran into Austin Leeds behind the booth, I have no idea how I learned it was him, I think I heard someone say his name or something. Also I was pretty wasted but still thankfully cohesive enough to recognize that name from a remix of DM's "Halo" I have. I asked him about it and he was like yeah that's me I was like omg no way lol. He's in town from Texas, I guess he is spinning at Spybar tonight. I would not mind going there. But that was pretty damn random and weird. Cool to meet him, got a pic too - I have it labelled.

This pic rocks Seneca!

Mr. Delobbo you're probably thinking of Stephen Lee(of Lee Cabrera)
who is in town and playing at spybar tonight.

These pics and reviews are making me all tingly for the Armin show
