Good Records or Good DJ ??

| Quick question , would you rather hear a DJ that has great mixing skills, but lacks track selection. Or would you rather hear a DJ that is ok , but play great mixes b/c of his track selection. |

its true.
the guy who taught me how to play 3 tracks at once (he can ing play four at once:eyes: ) has track selection. just plain bad techno. ends up asking me to lend him my tracks. it's sad really, he even has good taste, as he always loves my newer stuff and asks me to lend it to him, but he always ends up buying records.
and his sets suck because of it. |

| naw man, it's all about having 3+ inputs riding through the set. an accomplished dj can only have so much fun with 2 inputs. after about 20-30 min of using 2 you tend to get pretty bored. |

it's really hard to play 3 trance record at once, it's hard to play 2 melody at once, so 3 is impossible, you can easily do it with some tech records. im so happy when i stay 1 min with 3 fader up ;)
about thread subject :
99% people on a dance floor do not even think about what can be dj skills, so to be a good dj in a most of club, you have to have good records.
but i cant stay more than 10 min listening a dude which doing transition during 10 sec and dont do anything else ... |
