The referee in the Ecuador vs. Costa Rica game was horrible, he gave yellow cards for delaying the game in the first half which is really lame, Ecuador didn't even score the first goal when this happened.
He also gave the an Ecuadorian defender a yellow card for NOT touching Paolo Wanchope. He was really bad, no matter how much I don't want to flame him :z |

no it's not lame, it's the new FIFA rules for this world cup and i agree 100% with it. wasting time should be punished.
i agree he made a couple dodgy calls tho, but those weren't about delaying the game. |

I agree on them and yes, I know about them, but making them so early in the game is lame. There was no delay of the game in the first half :wtf:
He was bad, really bad. |

| i got around to watching the USA - Ghana match and i didnt agree with Essein's yellow card. it looked like him and reyna were going for the ball. also the penalty kick was a joke. |

the comentators here say the refereeing has been much better than in 2002 but i've got to disagree. these last few days have been a complete joke, and here is yet another game that proves it. |

The referee's so far has been very bad.
I think it's a ing joke that they get the chance to decide a game. It's horrible :whip:
I certainly hope they won't up the rest of the World Cup now that the groupstage is almost over.. |
