Maybe it was just the poor sound quality from this sample...
but that was ...
it's no better than ty cheap trance mixes by over-commercial producers that remix old classical tracks, or the 8-bit nintendo games sounds (poorly).
Seriously... wtf.... This guy's become no better than these cheap s that sell CDs u can pick up at service stations. The CDs for people who say that they just want to listen to "doof doof" music. |

konijn = masterrrrr @ ID-ing tiesto.
though the mix isnt my thing to dance on, or get goosebumps by, tiesto somehow merged the main theme melody pretty 'okay' in the track. next to that, i think that if tiesto wants, he can make a mix out of this from which most of you tiesto-haters would instantly ejaculate, and get a massive orgasm:nervous: .... but since u guys dont see that tiesto has to keep this mainstream and commercial, u dont understand why this mix is done the way it is ... |

No, it was actually very good in terms of mainstream action movies. If you weren't being so self-aware and concerned how you'd look watching a film about pirates, you'd probably be able to enjoy it. And Johnny Depp was hilarious- great offbeat performance.
EDIT: This track is though. |

well, i think (this is just my view on things, if you have other thoughts; no problem) that when tiesto would make a 'masterpiece', like for example 'Allure - The Love We Lost', which would be trance at its best, it would not 'touch' the public/audience who hears the remix during the movie. i assume the remix will be played in the movie, or during the commercial for the movie, because otherwise letting tiesto remix it would have no influence. just like what happened with that 007 movie, for which tiesto remixed madonna. although that track got playlisted quite often, the track has to fit in the concept. for example, if you like jonas steur's castamara, which is thought to be a great trance classic pur sang, it might not fit in the concept. the song has to be, i think, catchable. forgive me for my perhaps not-easy-to-follow explanation, im dutch, and i cant always find the right words. but i have the idea that such remixes have to be easy, so that the audience catches it up faitly easy. masterpiece trance anthems might also fit in a movie, for example, chicane's salt water might easily fit in a movie that has something to do with a beach, or surfing.
what i mean is that a remix/song has to get a touch/feeling within the audience. therefore, since not all people who go this movie are trance-freaks like us ;), might not like it if its some superb trance song, but totally not has a touch or feeling with the movie and its audience
u r getting my thoughts;)? |

| The track is complete garbage... Nothing original about it cept' it's uber complex melody which is way too much action in the high end... Sorry, add it to all of his other Tijsasters of recent years :( |

uh.
that was a movie.
I watched in a flight from some country to another. Maybe they cut parts out. BUt having parts cut out probably only made it better.
They should've cut the whole thing out.
Maybe i was too old for it or something. I dunno. |

yeah, if it was made FOR the people who made the movie, i can understand. But if he made it of his own accord, i don't really understand the big deal.
I'm having a lot of trouble hearing the second version though. I'll have to see if i can listen to it |
