What can I say... Happy Birthday Swamper.. I didnt get 2 meet you but next time... glad to see a hudge ta turn out.. hope everyone had fun.. unfortunately I had to leave early as I work in the morning..
brad copeland was great.. max was off the hook.. really great choons.. i went nuts right before i left he played that crazy choon and im buzzing right now so I cant rememeber.. lol.. i NEVER drink but considering the fact that they were giving out free bottles of vodka water I took the liberty of polishing that off..after payin 15 to get in i figure might as well take advantage of the opportunity.. hahaha...
ne ways overall i had fun while it lasted... i hope to see better reviews than mine but since I was home early i figured id start the thread.. hahahha first time i think ive ever began one.. so if this one sucks im sorry...woot woot!! |

The night started off interesting when the doorman asked andrew and i if we had had anything to drink before we came to the bar.
Andrew instinctively said no. At this point the bouncer asked us to step out of line, where then another bouncer said you haven't had anything to drink?
We said yes we had had literally 2 beers each. Then he says, well then why did you say no?
We're just trying to do this for your own protection.
Then he let us in, and within 10 steps of getting in the bar we are both handed free drinks for some promotion.
Where's the irony in that!
Anyways, once that was out of the way the night was stellar. Good tunes, especially the first half of max's set. The club started to empty after a while which sort of killed the vibe, but for a good part of the night it was really rocking.
I really like this is london, it is probably the most comfortable club I've ever been in. |

Wow. What an incredible night. From start to finish everything clicked into place, and I had one of the best nights out in TO that I've ever had before.
Headed to Milestones for dinner and drinks with Dannie, Sean, Paula and Tyler. Served by a very interesting waiter after an hour waiting for a table. (Some of the best calimari that I've ever had too)
Sooo we all got warm and fuzzy thanks to a few rounds of drinks and headed to TiL.
Now, if you would like to breeze your way into a club, with no hassle and a good group of people theres two words that make it possible. Sean. Cassidy.(Wikkid Wikkid! - love you dude!). You sir are a king among men, and all you do for us is not forgotten nor does it go unappreciated. :)
It was my first time there, and This Is London is a BEAUTIFUL venue.
Good sound, awesome lighting and plenty of space to dance. The decor really makes you feel like you're partying in a mansion.
Awesome patio - It still feels like you're in the club even though you're outside.
Wicked staff - Everyone was super friendly and really helpful, it made the experience that much better.
Tunes were amazing, but like most occasions it was the company that made the party so amazing. Max was good, but I REALLY loved Brad Copeland's set. I look forward to seeing them both play again.
Dannie, Paula, Tyler, Sean, Sasha, Max, Shanny you guys are in awesome, and are 75% of the reason why I come out to any event. Wouldn't have traded the pre-get together for anything - good times and plenty of laughs.
Andrew, good to see you again!
Chinamon, wicked to finally meet you and respects for yelling at Tyler to put up more house sets LOL! :p
Del, it was a pleasure to meet you and share in your birthday celebration - if you had 1/20th of the good times that I did then you had one hell of a night!

LMFAO, yes we have pictures, as soon as I get them, that will be posted.
- Firstly, happy birthday Del. :) The deltron shuffle was in full effect. Glad to see you had fun.
- Brad, perfect warmup, great seeing you and Max in the booth again, awesome.
- I'd say for a good two hours that party was insanity. Total pandemonium. In typical Max fashion, the place was going off for about 12 songs straight. Hearing 'Strobelight' followed by 'Crank' made my night. I knew it was coming and it rocked the place. Whenever I'd look around people were dancing HARD, Max totally had the place by the balls. (lol c'mon England)
- Max's stage presence, and "crowd control" always blows me away. He's so much fun to watch and what a great ear for party tunes. (lol @ teddy ruxpin)
- Overall, killer night. Good friends & good tunes.

This needs to be said again, the venue is ing sick. Perfect. You totally take it for granted, but all night comments were " the sound is good in here", or "how gorgeous is this place" etc etc. Staff was awesome last night as well. Still my favorite club in Toronto atm. |
