argentina didnt deserve to win the match more than germany. this german team is playing alot of attractive attacking football very different from usual german football. they played a tight game today simply because they were playing against the other best team in the tournament. the teams canceled each other out. maybe argentina was better at times, but overall a draw fit the game. |

Yea... the only difference is NO ONE expected Ukraine to advance and they came with the attitude that "hey, we're here - that's a victory in itself", so, not much hope and anticipation build up was there. Everyone knew Ukraine will not win.
Now, German loss would have been a perfect devastation and would have been cheered probably just as widely and joyously as if it was... 1945!
