Well, I shouldn't have underestimated the Germans before this tournament. This was their first really tough match, but Pekeman made some pretty stupid substitutions. He reminded me of Sven in the last Euro! I hate penalties, but the Germans are simply the best at them and that was proven today. Stunning kicks, absolutely stunning. Argentina deserved this match until the late stages, but football is 90 minutes, not anything less.
I still hope to see a Germany-England final, but the Gerries have all the confidence in the world now and they will be tough to beat. |
