i know so many peeps that do actual live PA's with live and very few had mention about any crashes with live. sasha needs to just move on.

This was the first and only time I've ever seen it crash on him out of 5 times.

I was really hoping he'd continue the night on CDJs, already the first 2 tracks he dropped using CDs were sick, and the mixing of course good.

Sucks to hear Lavelle ruined it so badly, though to be honest he did the same in Denver. Sasha was playing great, really banging and melodic to open the night, and James comes on and literally brings the track to a stop...no matter where Sasha would take it from there on he would kill it everytime.

His only redeeming quality was playing Tim Deluxe - Reflections towards the end; it had no flow whatsoever, but was nice to finally hear live.

Sasha played a pretty good set, I enjoyed it. I mustve missed his up when I went to the patio, I heard the djs playing Blood then 321 so I just had to stop in there and dance to that. The opening with Night Falls was pretty killer and the 2nd to last track (ID?!) and Gebrunn Gebrunn was really nice.

I left after Sasha finished the cd and am really glad I did. I could tell from the first 2 minutes of Lavelles set that I didnt want to be there. Plus its a long ass drive for me.

It was good seeing everyone, I havent been down there in so long.
So who stuck around to buy the cd? Can someone post the tl?

i was only there from around 215-4am...i liked what i heard from Sasha before James took over.

i remember commenting that James must have taken some DJ lessons as at first he was mixing fine...but of course all good things come to an end. i'd say out of 6 mixes, 1 he blew and 2 were fade out-fade ins...but i liked the track selection at least. some nice minimal stuff that sounds great of a good system like Avalon's.

AOS played some fun stuff in the patio as well.

can't wait for Darren Emerson in 2 week

yea, it was a great night. thanks to lawrence at the door for hooking up the reduced list, you are a rockstar.

sasha was ripping it up as soon as I got in there, until I left at 3 am. I would have stayed later, but I was parked in a tow-away zone that started at 3, so that's when I booked. I didn't notice to much track manipulation that sasha started doing a ton of when he started with the maven. the last couple times I've seen him he hasn't done much at all. great set though, glad I went.

can anyone link up the double cd pretty please?

peace,
steve
