SASHA's last residency night @ Avalon~~~ REVIEW!!!! (pg. 3)

Gotta agree with Clovis. By far the worst Fundacion night i've been to. Sasha was laying it down pretty good for the cd, but I couldn't hang for the whole night. I left before Lavelle got on to ruin it. But on the plus side, I have Tommie Nevada - Meeting at the Cornfields stuck in my head :p

Will have to pick up the cd to hear the hour or so that i missed.

edit
Oh well! Get to see him on the Space terrace in Ibiza in about a month anyway :D

PICS!!!

Didn't get too many pics of TAs. Once we were on the dance floor, the only people we saw were Simon and Kelly and Tigo#2. We were all the way upfront at the rail right under the DJ booth for the entire night. We had run into Clovis, Bas, Bunny, Julia and Rene earlier. Guess I should have grabbed some pics then.

There were a bunch of crazy ass Hungarians right next to us. On the CD you can here them (and me :nervous: ) yelling Alexander!!!...Alexander!!! They claimed he loved that . Who was I to argue? The mic was like 5' from us. It was great though because they kept all the washers away. The FOBs would work their way up to the rail only to be completely overwelmed by the Hungarians lol. They go back to Hungary in two days and get to see Sasha & Digweed in Budapest :whip: :whip: :whip:

Why oh why couldn't we have Digweed instead of Lavelle? Lavelle sucked. Nothing new. Tabberner sucked. Nothing new. Sasha played a pretty solid set. I've heard better but I enjoyed this one. Listening to the CD right now is pretty cool too. I was suprised they left the up on there.

thanks to ta i've never had the displeasure of hearing lavelle live. i've heard so many bad things i couldn't justify another roadtrip knowing him + the standard avalon crap openers/closers would fill most of the night's music. i loooved the first 2 fundacions but i knew that was largely because zabiela and burridge have an elevating affect on sasha. besides i had a blast watching jonathan peters and chus & ceballos instead :D so uhh... when does lawler come back? :D :D :D

ps: lol @ the hungarians

Rene what was that one song i liked, with the female vocals? "pleasure seekers"

Elektrochemie - Pleasure Seekers (ID Remix?) I'm guessing it was Sasha's?

I am suprised to hear so many bad things about Lavelle, I love is Barcelona G.U. but I guess hearing him live must be a different thing...
