Hmmm well kinda glad I missed this one. :p
Lavelle... Surprise surprise is all I can say. ;)
And Sasher ending with the last track on Diggers's new mix? Kinda odd... Even though I absolutely LOVE that track!
And what drugs have you guys been on for the last year?! I've NEVER seen him do an Ableton set WITHOUT at least one crash!!! I'm sure there are tons of sets out there without some ups but I'm just saying I ain't never seen him play one of those ;)
*Shrug*
I still love Sasha, but maaaan.... IMO he's never been as good as the DH tour and then when he toured for ADD.
I still have faith he'll turn it around, but lately... |

Haven't heard Sasha's Ableton crash on him the few times I've seen him play with it here in SF.
Actually, have never seen Ableton or any DJ software crash on a DJ in person.
Anyhow, those who aren't digging Sasha's style....just give him time. Sasha (like Digweed) is always evoloving and you never know what he'll be playing 6-12 months down the road.
I remember when everyone was getting bored with Sasha in like 2002, 2003....then he played this most amazing set at Glastonbury in 2003 and everyone like, is Sasha back!?!? Then he toured a bit in the US right after (coming through SF) and he was AMAZING!!!
And for the longest time, he was rippin it up and Diggers then got a bit stale.
Now Diggers is back in full force (plus more!) and Sasha is just in a phase where some peeps aren't liking his current style. |

He's on a minimal trip right now, and while, his sets are always a smooth ride they just lack the really deep layers he's usually known for... |

I saw Ableton crash on G&D last year at Spundae when they opened for Christopher Lawrence. The music stopped for a good 3 minutes. Lucky for them it was early in the night and there wasn't much of a crowd to witness the crash. |
