I think most TA's know what I mean.. that's what brings us here...to this board, day in and day out... and what brings us closer together in harmony more than any other form of music.
I was into Trance for a while...but after the death of my good friend, and especially of my father not too long after, it really did help me release the flood of emotions that I felt during that time... I grew to appreciate the music even more for it...and was able to continue and accept the forces beyond my control...knowing that everything has it's reason...and that there is a greater purpose. This feeling and understanding was enhanced with my visit to the south pacific...I fell in love.....with TRANCE.
I know it's kinda deep what I just wrote...but I just felt I needed to write this down for everyone to know...so that somehow...somewhere...somebody knows that LOVE truly does exist..... it exists in yourself, and Trance helped me find that love within...only then can u truly be happy!!

wow...i'm speechless. somewhere out there, there are people like you that completely understand exactly how i feel when i listen to my music. I hope that trance has soothed you in helping you recover from your friends and your fathers death. for music to be able to do that... that is power!

I love how trance can unite everybody. you go to a huge monster trance event and all you feel is the love and nothing but. Seeing PVD in Toronto was an amazing experience. It was as if everyone was emotionally connected, feeding off of everyone. I can't wait to see PVD in new york at the end of this month!

When i think of Chicane..do you know what i think of?
I try to envision his childhood. You can be rest assured that Nick Bradlecile (forgot how to spell his last name) had a loving childhood filled with love and support. you can feel it in his music.
speaking of which, i've also thought about Paul Van Dyk's childhood. If you listen to the expanse of his productions and remixes..you feel this energy in his music. It's as if he's trying to free his listeners. well, if you know the history of PVD's childhood you can account for why he expresses such emotions in his music. i believe pvd grew up in communist east berlin, and his families entire goal before the berlin wall collapsed was to escape the oppressive freedom-sapping lifestyle of the communist regime. thank god for communism. w/o it, we wouldn't be blessed with PVD's beautiful music! |

first of all i must say sorry for your lost and i know what u are feeling.. my heart goes to you. also i myslef think that trance is a form of religion and feelings.. some songs make me cry not because of the lyrics but the feeling of happines that i get from them.. i use to listen to hip hop and now i just listen to trance at first it was just rollin muzik. now its all i listen to. just to relax and to go to sleep to take a bath to have sex etc..
