and arty what kind of lame excuse is "he's an opener dj" if it takes u 1 1/2 hours + almost 2 to pick it up then i'm sorry. i'm not going to waste my time.
he needs to take lesson from markus's OPENER wmc set. |

| Hey man, Great review, Sounds like it was a fun night last night, Sorry that I couldn't attend, Maybe next time Space has another event like this, I'll go, As long as the set times for a certain DJ are good enough for me to actually go to. :) |

Not a very big Armin fan... but I was very pleased with his work last night. I think it was his 3rd or 4th track that was a remix of an eighties track with a guitar melody. Can anyone tell me what this track is?
And yes, Markus ruled. Can't wait to see him again. |

While I would agree I liked what Armin played later in his set more as it was harder, overall I thought both Armin and Markus threw down great sets.
I did not stop dancing from the time I arrived until the time I left, and had a great time. That is all that counts, and it really looked like everyone else was having a great time as well. |

so not cool as i spent a lot of time to try and stay awake to put up the review but o well
here is just a copy and paste of my review
well its close to 5 i just got home...lef after an hour of markus' set...i must say that armin played probably one of the best if not the best sets i have ever heard in my life..he started off a lil chill but then just blew the roof open non-stop until he left...armin had me with kyau vs. albert-walk down(euphonic remix)...sick song..only other song i feel like iding is above and beyond-air for life...tom i will id some more tracks
markus for the one hour i saw after AvB left kept up the energy somehow...its hard to keep it up with what armin was playing...i saw very little of acosta but it was good..not the best but good
seasunz had a pretty good intro to armin...love the track he played

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what a ing NITE/MORING!
That was hands down the BEST nite I have EVER had at club Space! Armin was boring at the beginning then got a lot better but the show stealer, the fuking MAN of the nite was Markus Schulz!!!!!!!!!

Highlight of my nite was CIRCA (Main mix)...yeah M.S playing CIRCA?? Never expected that from him...I was wishing before I got there that at least Armin would play one of the two mixes & it ended up being the DJ I least expected! All the IDs have pretty much been mentioned so I'm not gonna bother :p
Markus has come soooooooooooooo far & is going anywhere but down...up up up! There was NO cheesy tracks to speak of AT ALL...not one, yeah that's ing INSANE! His mixing was FLAWLESS & I mean completely, mixing TRANCE like he'd been doing it for 30 years & put top ranked DJs to SHAAAAAAAAAME!
Markus' set was the best set I have ever heard there...yeah he even beat PvD sets of the past because of no cheese & the ENERGY he had! wow ing wow...I'm still crazy over here.
Upstairs Edgar & Gerry were ripping that apart! I mean you come from downstairs listening to trance to go upstairs & listening to some BANGING trance...the tag team set was awesome!! Their mixing was top key...Gerry WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW man I never thought would master that like that. Both were playing some sick techy tracks...I had such a blast it's going to be tough to top last nite.
I left like @ 7:45 & only the upstairs was going with very few people. Richard & Paullino were like the only ones left...Edgar told us he was about to leave so that was basically our que cuz they were about to close down if not I think I would have stayed lol.
Great seeing so many TAs & partying with them & glad I finally got to officially meet Neil :) who was very cool!
I loved seeing DA go all crazy to Markus cuz he didn't like him much in the past!
Colleen I had missed you so it was great seeing you last nite.
Melly :( you left meeee & throughout the ENTIRE nite everyone kept coming up & asking me "where's Mel" :stongue: |
